I just figured out why I feel weird about teenagers trick or treating!

It's because they are taller than I am! So that is why I feel weird giving them candy.

i actually always get a kick out of the teens that come around. i always give them handfuls of candy and they get so excited. hey...maybe one day when i'm old and grey they'll come over and help ol' mrs. reiber with her gutter.

I do have to mention the one teenager I overheard talking to a lady handing out candy. He was dressed totally normally & she asked him who he was. He said "I'm Ponyboy from the Outsiders". Took me a minute to remember the book & make the connection and I think it did her too but if you can come up with a character like that when asked, I'll give you a handful of candy.

Did he look like a greaser? Cuz...

I would've totally called him on it if he didn't. (I was totally rockabilly when I was still single and lived in La-La land)

One was even dressed as the Burger King guy and would get candy at a house then run and put it in little kids buckets on his way to the next house.

Now this is funny!!! LOL I love those BK commercials where he stuffs money in someone's pockets. Never happens to me though :blink: LOL

I happen to love Laffy Taffy! LOL!

I was so shocked when these 2 men and a woman came up to my door dressed as Blue Man Group. Honestly they had to be 20! I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Then I said, don't get sick on all that candy!

I couldn't believe it!
