Teaching Digital Class!

I tried to post this once & it vanished! SO! Excuse me if you find it else where!


I probably have no business doing this, but today (at a mom's club type thing) I mentioned that my passion was digital scrapbooking. NO ONE there had ever HEARD of it!?!?!? So immediately, I've got 30 eager to learn students! They've asked me to teach a mini class on it.

I was thinking of start VERY basic with the first class. They don't know ANYTHING about this. SO I need to explain exactly what it is, paper vs. digital, printing options, explain kits/embellishments, etc. From there, I figured that I could find out who was REALLY interested & thinks they want to learn more & then put together a class a little more advanced.

I actually attended a digital scrap workshop a while back & the lady gave us all a PSE trial CD.. does anyone know where I could get these? or if Adobe will send you them? I need about 30.

Has anyone done this? advice? tips? do you have powerpoints or any notes put together that you wouldn't mind sharing?

They can all download the trial version at Adobe.com....I think it is good for 30 days but not too sure. Good Luck, sounds like a challenge but fun too!!!

definitely a challenge but very fun! and its always good to send them here, lol. they will start out with goreous, high quality kits; that ought to get them addicted, lol!

I'd get their emails and such and make sure they download the trial BEFORE your class so they don't spend the class time installing it, etc...maybe encourage them to play with it abit and read over the manual so they hve a basic idea of the tools and such.
