Tax rebates...

For those who were in the first wave of direct deposits.. it could be as early as Monday when you see that money...... YAY!!! :thumbup:
 
I am not sure if we are direct deposit and frankly don't care as long as I get my check soon!!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
 
Aftering paying in a massive load of cash this year for taxes, I *hope* we are among the first wave. I could really use that money right about now. LOL!
 
Apparently, they have changed the schedule a little... I know someone that got theirs today!

Ours isn't direct deposit... so it will be awhile, but that's okay!
 
We're scheduled for May 9, that should be perfect because we bought a washer & dryer last week & the bill for it should arrive May 15. :)
 
we're scheduled for the 2nd wave of May 9th too, but if it's a few days early all the better! can't wait! :thumbup:

We're in the last wave. Okay, I'm not complaining. Any money is great and getting it whenever is great...BUT....moving it up just makes my irritation that much more bittersweet...with our original date, we were going to get the money 5 days too late to pay off my new laptop within the "90 days same as cash" window and now we are going to get the money ONE day too late :p Go figure....the money will still be paying off my new laptop, but that ONE day is a difference of $200. Poo.

Okay, maybe I am complaining. Hey atleast I have a smokin' laptop to scrap on right? Thanks, Uncle Sam ;) We are also picking up a few baby things...I shouldn't complain about the timing too much...getting a large check right before baby is a good thing :D
 
5-2 here for us. Which will be lovely since I just ordered a new pair of glasses for Kassi today. Gonna be a pretty price.
Plus, I wanna do some shopping on NSD heeehee
 
Stupid question.... if you paid this year, instead of a refund... are you direct deposit or paper check? The years we have gotten a refund have always been direct deposit.
 
We were in the original DD group of May 9th so I was happy to hear this morning that they are starting disbursements early!! Can't wait to get our $$!!

well if we go by my SSN then we are the second wave and then I am not sure if we are direct deposit of not but our state tax check was and we did rapid for the federal....so I don't know.....lol
 
Jen, was the federal refund direct deposited or a paper check? If it was paper, you'd be in the paper check schedule, if direct deposit, the direct deposit schedule.
 
*grumble grumble* if *I* had filed under MY SSN first we'd be in the first wave, but since I did under P's first we'll be in the last...*SIGH*
 
Thanks for the link on the rebates! i didnt know about that. I have to use that money for my wedding so its great to know i get it may 9th. Thanks thats awesome. :thumbup:
 
Yahooo, we are scheduled for May 9th too! That will really help right now! I saw something that said we wouldn't get ours till the end of the summer, it must have been a bad schedule!
 
Pam, the schedule for the previous rebate had been floating around as a model for this rebate. The dates are very off on that one...according to it, we wouldn't have this check until August. Now we're getting it either the 5th or 9th.
 
I just can't wait!! I am planning on getting a DSLR with mine! I haven't totally decided which one yet though!! I am soooo ready for a new camera!!!
