That's so disgusting...but I AM a cat lady. I "get" them. I'm kind of the same way...except for eating baby bunnies. :)

Actually, outside cats gross me out. I'm a freakazoid about NOT letting my cat get outside. As much as I love most dogs (sorry...but some dogs are more like oversized rodents and don't count)...they are WAY too high-maintenance for me.

Oh I shouldn't have read that!

Not only gross but super sad, I have a pet bunny and the thought makes me sick to my stomach!

oh april. i am sooo sorry!! i was throughly disgusted too. :( i promise i gave that psycho cat a firm scolding. not good. not good at all.

as an owner of both cats, dogs, a wolf AND a bunny....ewww, so sad and not appealing at all, but unfortunately it's what wild animals do. Sorry you had to see that!

In all fairness, kitty is not psycho, kitty is just doing what he needs to do to survive. No one likes to see little fluffy bunnies hurt, but it's not like the cat is doing it maliciously.

Sorry you had to see it, but don't be hatin'. Nature's a cruel thing to witness sometimes.

It's probably a bad sign that this didn't gross me out.

Our cats were indoor/outdoor growing up, and would bring us "presents". The presents were mice, moles, finches, bunnies, even a blue jay once. All decapitated with head on one side of the driveway, body on the other, guts in between.

You knew there was a new present when my mom would yell for my brother to get the shovel.

we have a couple cats that are outside cats here too and while it does make me sad cause I absolutely love bunnies I have to say that is what they do. The cats here tend to like lizards, dragonflies, butterflies, birds, shrews and mice and occasionally snakes

How do you erase that vision from your brain... just reading about it and visualizing it has fried my brain a little. I know it's 'nature' and it's what happens in the wild, but to see it in action.. is something else. :(

yep that's what they do.. gross yes, but kitty was hungry :p at least the cat was eating it and not just killing things like my german shepard use to do lol.

Our cat was an inside cat for years. Over the past couple of years, he has wanted to go outside, so I have started to let him, since we are on street where there is NO traffic. Occasionally I get "presents" like little shrews.

I read somewhere that they bring them back for you, because they love you, and want you to be proud of them, for their hunting skills.
