Taco salad!

Can't you just make some taco meat and throw it with whatever salad fixin's you want?

That's what I do sometimes when the boys want tacos. I stick the meat in a bowl, throw some salsa/peppers/tomatoes/lettuce/cheese on top, and eat the tortilla torn up into small bits.

We do nacho cheese doritoes for a little crunch, but any tortilla chip would work. And then whatever fixings you'd like - avacado, jicama, black olives, tomatoes, cheeses, pico de gallo, cilantro, whatever! We typically just use a weensy bit of ranch dressing and a lot of salsa on ours.

yeah..i just get some taco seasoning and brown my hamburger and then season. We keep all the stuff separate since we all like different stuff. So i will get lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, onion (we like green onions), and salsa and then we layer how we want. Super yummy!!! I LOVE taco salad! oh and I just use tortilla chips

ya dude. here's what you need:

chips crushed a bit
hamburger meat cooked with taco seasoning
canned beans or you could cook your own
lettuce
yummy salsa
sour cream
green onions
olives
guac
cheese

pile it on and enjoy!

yep that's just what I had for lunch today! we make it just the same but leave out the onions and I add beans.

This is pretty much how we do taco salads here too, except sub pinto beans for the onions and sometimes we do mexican or taco rice on the side too
