Ok, can we just talk about the beautiful black shirtless men on tonight show? DAAAYYYUMM! Honestly, almost couldn't handle it. lol
 
2 things I hated hearing Napolean say tonight: "Jessica you're bringing your partner down" and to Katee about almost not keeping her on the show (geez, I bet Katee was so hoping that would never be brought up again lol) even though I know his rambling was meant as a compliment.

It's like Napolean has waited the last several weeks to finally say those things lol. And it's funny about the Jessica thing b/c Mary and Nigel went on to praise her in that dance. I guess he didn't get the judge's memo that they were laying off her this week lol.

ok, girls, so this is my first time watching this show and I just don't get how you keep track of all those people! And how you tell the difference when they all do completely different dances? And that one woman judge with the screechy voice makes me a little crazy. And what's with all the teen-age chicks in the "pit" below the judges -- what is the point of that? Guess I'm not sold yet.
 
LOL, Dawn...Mary Murphy (the judge with the screechy voice) can really grate on you...I've been watching since Season 1, so I just ignore her now, lol. As for keeping them straight...it's hard. DH and I were like "who did so-and-so dance with again?" haha...but the best part is that they keep the same partners for several weeks, so you get to know who is who that way. By the time they get new partners, you're several weeks in and know who you like and don't like. It's easiest if you start watching from the beginning (auditions) because you get to know them too through auditions and Vegas week, then when they're in the top 20. :)

I don't know about the teenage girls in the pit...lol...but it's the same on AI (which Nigel Lythgoe - the old British judge on SYTYCD - is producer of).
 
OMG -- they're going to SWITCH partners at some point? That's probably when I'll just have figured out which couples are which. :)

OTOH, I'm sure my 8 y.o. daughter already knows all of them and their life stories, so I can always ask her.
 
Yes the shirtless black men was very hot....and that Mia Michaels dance with the bed was just amazing!!!
