Those of you who are friends with me on FB can definitely tell by my posts lately that I am DONE being pregnant, lol. I'm miserable and 908940328 times more uncomfortable than I ever even imagined possible (and I found out on wednesday that I'm suddenly measuring 3 weeks ahead - but everything is 100% ok with Swerbaby), I'm not sleeping, blah blah blah. MANY of you know where I'm at right now, lol. We're finishing the nursery this weekend FOR REAL, so I'll finally get that all set up and give myself some peace of mind. I've got my hospital bag, labor bag, and the diaper bag packed, the car seat is installed, all the gear is set up. I. Am. READY.

But Swerbaby is staying put so far. SO. Let's have some fun with this, shall we? I'm 38 weeks 2 days today, and I have 12 days to go until my leap day due date. I've gained about 20 lbs in total. I'm still getting sick almost every morning, and I've started getting sick at night again now too. My hips are a mess, and my pelvis feels like people are pulling on each leg trying to split me in two, but there's not a whole of baby pressure going on. Dr said Swerbaby isn't particularly low, and his feet are still ALL up in my ribs. I'm very much all belly, you can't tell I'm pregnant from behind. No swelling of hands or feet (SO stoked I don't have cankles, I can't even tell you, lol!).
Here's my latest bump shot from wednesday at 38 weeks.

Now. Armed with all that information, I want to see your guesses. Boy/girl, when I'll deliver, how big he/she will be, etc etc etc. Hearing everyone's guesses and reasonings takes my mind off the misery, lol.

reasonings for the above - just guesses! LOL I'm so sorry you are so miserable! And only a boy would put his mother thru that misery - right? :) So excited that the day is getting closer!

Did your Dr. check to see if you are effaced or thinned?

I hate all of you for guessing I'll be late (even though I do know that's a STRONG possibility). LOLOLOL!!

Erin, I haven't had an internal at all, no. I thought I was getting one 2 weeks ago when they did the swab for Group B Strep, the nurse even told me I'd be getting one, and then the dr came in and was like nah, it's useless right now. I see a rotation of dr's so that I'm familiar with whoever will be on call when I go into labor, and I think they each do it slightly differently. I might get one next wednesday at my 39 week appt, or I might not get one at all until I go into labor. I kind of don't care, because I have a gf who's 3 days overdue now and has been at 1cm/0% for like 2 weeks now with her little girl. It doesn't really mean anything, so it doesn't bother me not to know.
 
Its a boy, for sure. I think you will go a couple of days late on March 3rd. (Sorry.). I think he will be about 8 poounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long. Probably at 10:23pm.

HA! Yeah I could tell from the car seat ordeal that you were over it. Sorry you are so uncomfortable but it will be over soon....keep thinking positive thoughts!

I'm making a last minute change. I swore girl all along but now I say boy.

I say the babe will be 7lbs 8 oz and will be born on February 26.

The measuring thing is so arbitrary, my doctor never put much emphasis on it. Sorry you're miserable, but you're almost there!!!

Mine never did either.....I always always ALWAYS measured 3 to 4 weeks big with all of my babies except #3. With #3 I measured 2 weeks smaller.

Here are the weighs of my kids:

#1: 7lbs 5 oz
#2: 7 lbs 6 oz
#3: 8lbs 5 oz
#4: 7lbs 7ozs
#5: 7lbs 6ozs

My biggest kid was the one I measured the smallest with...go figure!!! :D :D

That's too funny!
I seriously had a mental breakdown on wednesday's appointment, lol. Apparently I've been measuring just shy of too big for a while now, but no one ever told me. And in the last week or two I've felt like I've gotten huge and WAY more ungainly/uncomfortable. The dr walked in and before I even said a word she was super sympathetic and asking me how I was doing, and instead of putting on the brave face I was just like I'm done. I'm miserable. I hate this. And broke down, lol. She did tell me that she hated being pregnant herself, and that I'm likely so uncomfortable because I had gotten a bit bigger a bit quickly in the last week, so that made me feel a little bit bigger. They did an extra ultrasound just because she was curious, and I don't have too much/a ton of fluid, and Swerbaby doesn't look to be huge or anything (but I also know that the weights at this point can be WAY off). So I'm just big. She was like well, you ARE measuring at past due, so I can understand being so miserable, lol. It just made me feel better to kind of have a reason for feeling extra awful, even if there is no explanation for the reason, KWIM? LOL!
 
I'm going with March 4, because it's my birthday :p But, I HOPE I am wrong and it's tomorrow! And, despite the fact that you are feeling awful now, how lucky are you to have only gained 20 pounds?? That's awesome!

I'm going to guess some wishful thinking for you. lolol I hated being pregnant, too, and I always feel such relief when I hear other women say it. Love being a mom, hated carting around 2 kicking babies who used my bladder like a trampoline. lolol

I refuse to guess anything I only want to complain because you are so darn gorgeous and fit and thin still while pregnant and it kinda makes me hate you :p
 
I say a boy sometime in the first week of March and in the 7-8 pound range.

My reasoning... um... I don't have any. Swerbaby just sounds as stubborn as my younger brother and he was 2 weeks late and 8 pounds. lol
