I was so pleasntly suprised at the low cost of shipping from Cali to Illinois-I know it will be higher for our friends outside the US, but I thought it was awesome that it equaled out to be about $1 per album!

YES-I already have a scalloped album ready to go to the printers...I have been waiting on some stuff I ordered from ebay to make my albums all pretty...Ribbons-buttons-flower and the likes, I have a LSS in the next town over but I thought she was a bit high for stuff that I didn't need a ton of-I got some really good deals off ebay on just the stuff I need at the moment.

I think Shannon and I had the same idea. I went out this weekend and got a bunch of embellies and now I placed my order for the albums. I'm planning ahead for Mother's Day. It may take me that long to finish them LOL :)

I think I did good! Every Monday night DH and I have the agreement that after supper he gets the kids....from 6-10....while I go away and have 'me' time (of course this will stop once I've got a Parker attached to me all the time) anyway...he has his night too....and so tonight I go, I unzip, I organize, I scrap :D Sometimes I get together with friends to scrap at BW3's or sometimes I go alone to the coffee shop...whatever....tonight I just might lock myself in my bedroom, pop the mp3 player in my ears so I don't hear any fussing from the outside and save myself the commute!!! My bathroom is attached to my bedroom so I don't even have to come out for that LOLOL!!!

Even though I had 40% off, I had to restrain myself as we are starting to undergo a budget crisis here (DH's unemployment benefits run out in the next month and I have to make a previously unexpected trip to Connecticut in June). So I just got Susan's "Flower Stand" and MandaBean's "And I Quote... Fathers". I got the last one as I'm FINALLY going to do that tribute album to my Dad (it's been 2 years to the day today since his funeral).
