On Facebook, make sure you friend CouponsandFreebies mom. She puts up new swag codes all through the day - but she also does a ton of other 'deals'. If you can overlook that, you can keep an eye out for bonus codes.

I also follow "We Love Swagcodes" the blog, but they don't put up anywhere near as many of the code alerts.

And be sure to do all the surveys you can, the daily polls, and the NOSO in the earn column on the site. They'll get you tons of new points :)
 
My fave new feature is Swagbucks TV....last night I just let it run videos for about 3 hours and won 40 swagbucks total. I'll also just let it run while I'm online and usually win 10-20 sb.
 
You get 4 points a day if you have the toolbar, do the daily poll, do the daily NOSO (no obligation special offer), and go to the survey area of the site.

I like having the toolbar because I automatically search for anything through swagbucks. If I don't win on the first search for that phrase, I try 1 or 2 more times. I get a lot of bucks just by searching the same thing a second and third time.
 
I agree~very addicting! I deffo recommend dl the toolbar w/it I would totally forget to use it as my search engine and my amazon account stays very well stocked with GC's.:thumbup:

OOh, thanks for the tip! I have never once gotten a code before it expired. I get most of my points from my toolbar and searches. I think I'll try that TV thing Nikki!
 
Do you guys all use the toolbar? I hate that thing for some reason. A few times, when I knew there was a code in the toolbar, I've installed it, gotten the code, and then uninstalled it. I'm a dork.
 
Why do you hate the toolbar?
I guess it's just one of those things. I HATE the yahoo toolbar, cuz I don't use yahoo. But I don't mind the swagbucks toolbar. And for 30 points a month, for free, I'll keep it installed :)
 
I think I hate the toolbar because it takes up a half inch of space up there. It just seems so imposing. "HEY, I DO SWAGBUCKS! LOOK AT MY BIG OL' SWAGBUCKS TOOLBAR!" I just don't like it. And, I just installed it to be sure that I still don't like it. Off to uninstall again. :)

Hmmm mine only takes up like a quarter inch.
 
Mine is small too. I love having it, because I can see my points up there, and I can get to all the daily swag stuff I do from there, too. I never forget to use their search, having it up there.

On a side note, wouldn't it be awesome if we could redeem Swagbucks for SSDbucks? :D
 
Yea, my toolbar is itty bitty too. Totally not imposing. Weird. Are you using FF? Maybe it's different between FF and IE?

Brie, you can redeem swagbucks for paypal $$. It's more points than amazon, but it's available. :)
 
I've seen a couple of users on FB - can Canadians do it too?
You just win points that you put towards other things right??

I use Safari. And, maybe it just feels bigger to me than it really is. And, the fact that it stretches across the entire width of the browser bugs me too. I wish that it was just a small thing that fit nicely in a little corner of my browser. I'd totally use it if it was like that. I guess I'm just crazy on this particular issue. Don't mind me.
 
I get ya. You can sort of customize it though, at least in FF. Mine is a single line and only about 3/4 of the way across. You can make it show fewer options. Next to the swagbucks thing on the left, click on the little arrow and then go to toolbar options. Then "predefined components". Click to get rid of what you don't want. Mine only shows the toolbar mailbox (which is where the codes are), and FB login.
 
i hate that you can't use the toolbar in chrome. i don't use ff...only chrome, and i'd hate to download ff JUST for that. (lazy)
