I dont know about you, but that tribal was STRESSFUL! LOL

And did you see the votes at the end (after credits). Malcolm voted for Reynold?!? What the heck? Did I miss something?!? Maybe he was counting on the split vote and reynold giving up his idol to him, (holy moly that was a ballsy move!!!) and thought he had to get one more on Reynolds to break a tie? I dont know...I can't figure it out! I would suck at this game! Ha ha!
 
It was very confusing tonight! I lost track of who was supposed to vote for who. Usually they throw someone to us to make us believe they are getting out, then they don't. But tonight was all over the place.

Reynold? Is an IDIOT!! Malcolm says "gimme your idol" and he DOES IT? OMG, how stupid!

I'm not looking forward to sobbing Dawn next week. Lady, you've played this game before, so you know how it goes. Geez.

I'm still liking this season though. :)
 
I was BLOWN AWAY by tribal tonight! I had no idea who was going to vote for who. I'm amazed that Malcolm was able to pull it off this week. He was really in hot water, and I don't know what he's gonna do to get through the next few weeks. I'm still pulling for him, though. 'Twill be interesting.
 
I just think it's hilarious that Malcolm has even charmed Reynold so much he can just ask for an idol like that. I do think at tribal that he thought they'd switched and voted for him which is what they'd intended to do I think before Andrea panicked and got everyone to vote Michael.
 
well when he voted he said it was a throwaway vote but not sure he honestly believed that...was just a weird vote I think

but yay for flushing out an idol and saving his own lol I wonder if he would have played his own idol had he not gotten Reynold to give him his...I think he really thought he was in trouble.

I wish they had gotten rid of a bigger threat though not a weaker player but I guess whatever gets you three more days

I think it would be a blast to be at Ponderosa. If it didn't look like I was going to win the million, I'd want to be the first jury member. :thumbup:

Well, I think he was voting that way because that's what the Favorites alliance said they were doing . . . splitting the vote. He knew they weren't actually voting that way, but by doing what they "said" they were going to do, he might be trying to make them think that he was still on board with them. I think it was pretty smart. He's gonna have to do quite a bit of fast talking now though - to get back in the good graces of both of his alliances. It won't be easy.
 
I'm really curious to see what Malcolm has to say next week. It was either a completely brilliant move to save his idol or a move of total desperation. Do we know for sure if he had his own idol with him?

What I don't understand was how the vote was supposed to go down. Was the idea that it'd be a 4-4-4 tie between Andrea, Eddie & Reynold, with Reynold playing the idol and either Andrea or Eddie going home? There were only 3 Andrea votes though - is that because they thought Dawn was voting for Andrea and she didn't? I just don't get why Malcolm would vote for Reynold and then steal his idol. Even if he was confident in his numbers, that's a pretty big risk when you've got an idol of your own in your pocket.

Does Malcolm not realize that Dawn is the mole? I found it hilarious that she was once again the spoiler this week. I do think the "bro" alliance is kind of stupid to think any woman would flip to their side. As the numbers dwindle, individual immunity becomes that much more important and I know I'd much rather go up against Phillip and Cochran than 3 or 4 strong guys.

and do you think Dawn is more in control than Andrea? Just curious your thought
 
LOL, the Cochran comment was my fave of the night - especially when they paired it with a clip of him giving the least manly fist-bump ever. :D

I agree about Michael but he's never been part of their alliance so I think trust trumps anything else at this point. They don't need him for numbers and well, they've got plenty of beatable people in their misfit alliance already.

As far as Dawn vs Andrea, that's a good question. I tend to think Andrea but she was also my female pick to win it all so I'm probably biased, haha. I do think Dawn is playing the game but I also have a hard time getting past her incessant crying. I'm not sure she's mentally tough enough to be making the tough calls. She's gotten lucky the past two weeks with important information being handed to her, which you could argue is good social game on her part but I don't know that I believe that. I do think Phillip has more power in their alliance than any of them want to admit. :D
 
Oh and Nikki, I love Dalton's recaps. I read them every week. They're often just as entertaining as the show. :D I did think it was interesting that he pointed out that Dawn & Cochran's alliance is tighter than it's being shown on the show - that does add an interesting dimension to Dawn's game. Maybe Cochran's calling more shots than we know - he is a super fan.

I agree 100% with that haha

Andrea was my female pick too..and Cochran was my male one but now I might change to Dawn if she and Cochran can keep their bond

Yeah I was thinking last night...Cochran isn't stupid...he made some mistakes in his first season, more socially I think, and I now he seems to be playing a much smarter game.
 
I SOOOO wanted them to vote for Malcolm and have it be Andrea that went home on that vote. Malcolm is really the only person I like this season.

Agreed. He was dealt a horrible hand the first time he played with how awful his tribe was to him. It's nice to see things working out better for him this time.

I'm really curious where Brenda fits into the game so far. She was pretty strategic in her season so part of me wonders if they're not showing her for a reason. Maybe she's this season's dark horse. After her immunity win, I wouldn't be surprised if she was.

People fault Dawn for her volatile emotions: she cries at the drop of a coconut. I actually think her weepiness is a testament to her Survivor skills. For most people, their personality is their strategy. They're flirtatious or cool-headed in real life, and that translates directly to the game. Dawn is an aggressive strategist in spite of her personality. She's managed to set aside her fragility to make the hard-nosed decisions that are deciding the course of this season.
