Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing? well this one time... this (LITTLE TINY) dog came out of it's yard while I was riding my bike and attacked my leg. I was pretty horrified.. I wouldn't ride down that street alone for the longest time :D :D It was the tiniest bite ever.. seeing as the dog was a pune. I can't even find the scar anymore.

What is your ambition?: I have many ambitions.. (LOL).. Go back to school.. get my bio degree.. adopt kids.. travel the world (LOL).. you know.. the basic stuff :D :D

Are you scared of growing old?: scared? I dunno... I am freaking o ut about my birthday.. but it's not necessarily about being scared to get old... Just blah that all this time has gone by.

She'll ask a question and if you don't give the answer she wants...she'll ask again, and again, and again "Oh, come on!" and try to ask it again rephrased. :cursing:

What do you like to do when you are together? nowadays - talk and watch our kids. Or if it's a group get together I will not bring my kids so just catching up.

Do you get depressed about things easily?: not 'depressed'. I do sometimes get hung up on mistakes/embarrassing moments and very occasionally I will have insomnia b/c I'm up thinking...thinking...thinking when there's something big in my life.

Are you an extrovert (outgoing) or an introvert (reserved)?: introvert at first. Though I think once I warm up/walls are down there are occasions where I throw sarcastic remarks all over the place.

Are you happy?: YES! The happiest I've been in my entire life (though college was quite fun :) ).

Do you live life to the fullest?: I live with no regrets.

Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing? yes. Very. But looking back it was for the better. There are 2 major things I've done since then (good things) that I would've have done if it didn't happen to me. haha...no, I'm not going into details.



Part 7: The Future

 What is your ambition?: 1st and foremost = raise my girls. I want to always be there for them...that's why I made the decision to be a stay at home mom. Now that DD1 is starting Kindergarten this coming fall and DD2 will be starting pre-school this fall as well (though only 9 hours a WEEK lol), I'm thinking to the future. The original plan was for me to go back to working in my DH's office. But...I'm realizing how nice it is to have that extra employee (as long as we can afford it) when we go on vacation and I still want to be home for my girls when they come home from school at 1:50pm (the school that DD1 got into this coming fall lets out at 1:50). So I would LOVE to have a part-time (or full time if the hours are flexible) job that I can do at home while the girls are in school and sleeping...and I would like to have that by 2010. I'm thinking about doing a one-year (or so...it's self-paced) on-line course and see how that goes. Haven't paid the tuition yet.

Are you scared of growing old?: not scared of growing old, but scared of getting something or some accident where I have to suffer a long time. Not only for the prolonged pain, but for the burden that would be for my family.

What food makes you want to gag? not gag - but seeing or just thinking about Kiwis makes my mouth salivate...not in a good way. Maybe it's a protective mechanism lol. I eat salmon, tilipia and some other simple fish (depending on the sauce it's in :p), but seafood is the closest category that makes me gag. Recently...eggplant. I tried to make these eggplant meatballs highly recommended on Allrecipes.com and really...even drenched in ketchup I wanted to hurl. DH loved them though lol. But I knew that I always hated eggplant but wanted to give it a go again.

What is your favorite dessert? dark chocholately something or other.

What is your favorite restaurant?: Outback Steakhouse for it's cheddar, bacon fries. Chili's for it's sampler appetizer. Black Angus for it's deals and if I have a coupon or if I get the free steak dinner email near my birthday. Love the back potato soup and that they have a sampler appetizer. Most times for the desert we eat the ice cream and box the fudge brownie thingy. Used to love Uno's for their potato pizzas on the appetizer menu. Yes - I LOVE appetizers :p

Also when I was in middle school or something and had a series of bad bowel movements (I know...tmi) haha.

Were you a planned baby?: I say no but my Mom always said yes. I say that because all of my brothers are 5 years apart and I was born 20 months after my second brother Dave ( Irish twins I think they call that!!!)

Were you the first?: No, but I was the first and only girl

Who was present at your birth?: My mom, a nurse and the OBGYN ( I actually went to school with one of his kids too!!!)

Are you parents married or divorced? Married for 40 + years until my Mom passed away so I guess that makes my Dad a widower.

An only child?: no

If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest?: I am 3 of 4

What are your sibling's names?: Ken, Dave & Jeff

Which parent do you get along with best?: Mostly my Mom but since she passed away my Dad and I have gotten much closer!!!!

What parent do you fight with more? My Mom and I fought like cats & dogs for awhile but it did not last too long.....

Do you have more than one best friend? Yes. I have "girlfriends" and I have a cousin that is more like my sister and 3 SIL's that are more like my friends!!!

What do you like to do when you are together? Depends on where we are...At home we sit by the fire (weather pending) and have a cocktail or 5
when we go out we hit out neighborhood bar and just jam to music and laugh some more!!!!!

Do you share the same interests?: For the most part. We all have kids so ther is that....Music is a bit different but I have managed to get them to like Dave Matthews......

Do you have the same friends?: I am still friends with 3 girls I went to HS with. We don't see each other often but we talk and e-mail and such.

Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing? Yes. About 3 years ago one of my twins let the dog out and decided to chase her through the neighborhood...This was all not know to me for a few minutes...I ran out to find him and could not see him anywhere I actually called 911, I was so scared he was snatched up but thankfully one of my neighbors found him in the park by our house and everything was fine.....SCARY as hell though

What is your ambition?: To make sure my kids grow up to be decent loving human beings.

Are you scared of growing old?: As long as I have someone by my side, no. One of my Grandmother's lived to 97 and the other just turned 90 so I see that as a positive sign too.

Favorite Season: Fall ( great camping weather )

Do you like walking in the rain?: If it is warm outside yes, cold weather rain---NO!!!.

What is your favorite food?: I would have to say my absolute favorite food would be a nice juicy burger with pepper jack cheese and all the trimmings but I LOVE Crab, Shrimp, Salmon, Ribs, Steak, blah, blah, blah

What is your favorite dessert? That would have to be a tie between Creme Brulee and Cheescake

What is your favorite restaurant?: I have a few but Bennigans would have to be at the very top of my list
