Surely i'm not the only one

hahahahahaha!! i didnt want to hurt feelings but i just cannot stand it, lol. i'm pretty well rounded in what i like in music but i can't like it. i tried. i listened to it on the way back from the store, listened to the words. nope. still hate it. :D
 
I :wub: Fireflies by Owl City! It was a free download on iTunes awhile back (before it became so popular), so my girls and I listen to it all the time!!
 
I like it....and I don't. Makes sense huh? I heard he recorded that whole CD by himself in his parents' basement.
 
my husband is sure that he smoked a little somethin' funny before he wrote that song. hehehe I don't mind it, it's got a vibe that I like, but the lyrics sure make you wonder.
 
Hahaha! I love this song, BUT I love making up new words for it more... whenever DH and I hear it we sing new words and then laugh our heads off. We need help I think.

OMG... I had a Speak and Spell!!! LOVED that toy when I was a kid... and I had the math one and the reading one! I played them so much that they broke... hmm... will have to check ebay...
 
I hadn't heard this before, but now I think my ears are bleeding. I couldn't even get through the whole thing.

LOL, I actually like that song because of the beat. I cannot however stand that Kings of Leon song. Talk about overplayed. And whiney. :thumbdown: I'm really sick of the Black Eyed Peas too.

I think XM overplays a lot of songs. I end up switching to the local stations just to try to find some variety.

i agree! i did like that Kings of Leon song. and i am sooo tired of that Blacke Eyed Peas Meet me Halfway song. XM does repeat a lot. i love having it, but i end up playing my iPod instead or listening to local.
 
Hmmm, nice beat, lame lyrics, but I think surely the Bblack Eyed Peas should win the award for stupidest song ever. Their lyrics are in general nonsense and the songs never end. i have to leave stores that play their songs.
 
I've actually never heard it before but I don't mind it. lol They must not play it on the XM stations I listen to. :D
 
I heard it for the first time on SIRIUS on the Pulse yesterday. I think the DJ said something like "If you know a 12 year old girl I bet you have heard this one a lot" and then they played it, and I was glad I didn't know any 12 year old girls. :)

I'm pretty over Taylor Swifts You Belong With Me. I think I hear it once an hour, alternating with Pink's Please Don't Leave Me. gag
 
Just heard it the first time and actually I liked it - to me songs don't always have to be sirius or make sence. But I can hear that if I hear that song to many times I could get annoyed.
