Are you going to watch? Probably will have it turned on while doing other chores, but probably wont 'watch'

Do you host a party? sometimes, but not this year- my hubby & son are in Montana for a hockey tournament. I stayed home since our billet hockey boys have a home game Saturday & I have to make them their pregame meals. My daughter has to work & has softball practice, so she stayed home too. So it's just us girls & the 2 hockey boys- I'm sure they will watch it in the basement & maybe have some teammates over, but no "party" per se.

Do you make a favorite dish? I have made in the past a really yummy blue cheese guacamole and some really good meatballs. I might make some snacks just for the heck of it this year!

Are you just watching for the halftime show and/or commercials? That's the best part IMO. I will for sure watch halftime.
 
We're going to have it on and I'll probably perk up for the commercials and halftime but won't pay close attention to the game. I need to come up with a few snacks to munch on.
 
My husband will probably watch, none of our favorite teams made it this year, so probably just watching for the commercials at this point. We actually change the channel for the halftime show, we aren't interested in it. I think I will scrap during that time! (Probably using the game as background noise and if something is really interesting, I can watch then).
 
I'll watch it because I'm a Chief's fan. Patrick Mahomes went to Texas Tech, which is where I went, so I became a fan of KC because of that. I do typically multi-task and scrap while I watch. We don't ever host a party because we seem to rarely watch the game til the end. I don't have any normal snacks that I make. I'll have to figure something out.
 
I'll be watching the game alone. I usually turn to puppy/kitty bowl during half time. I don't like the commercials either. I'm just hoping for a good game no matter who wins.

I might be doing that! The problem is always to catch how to watch the game. Do we pay for something? I don't know if it's on a regular free channel or not. We only have Samsung TV Plus...
 
This year is the first year we are planning to NOT watch the game! I find it SUPER boring when the same teams are in the championships (in whatever sport) year after year, and I don't care who wins this year! I kind of want both teams to lose haha! Can you have a tie in the SB? Anyway, I haven't been a fan of the half-time show in a long time either, because I guess I'm just an old lady, and the commercials are meh.

That being said, I DO love the food at a Super Bowl party, so we are going to a friends' house for a non-SB Super Bowl party, in which we have all the snacks and ignore the game altogether! I like all the dips and cheesy things, yum!
 
My husband mostly watches the game every year for the commercials. He doesn't watch football any other time of the year.
As for me, it's a big nope. :D
 
I caught the cold going around so will probably have it on in the background while I scrap. I am sure DH and kids will disperse to their friends.

I'm not a fan, but my husband might watch and make himself some spicy wings accompanied by a beer.

The game is on Fox. It is also being streamed for free on Tubi (a free streaming service owned by Fox Corporation).

As for commercials, most of them are already on YouTube. I even saw a news article about some of them today.
 
We're big basketball fans, and still in shock of Luka, AD and Wiggins' trade. But like Lea's husband, mine has also shown interest in other sports. So pretty sure the tv will be on for the Chiefs.
 
No to all! Definitely not a Chiefs fan or to a lesser degree an Eagles fan.
I wouldn't say no to Super Bowl shopping and it wouldn't be for anything related to the actual Super Bowl.

We watch NFL weekly. DH and I like to bet and see who does better each week. He has made his bets, and I am going to do mine tomorrow. lol!

As for the SuperBowl... I have overload/fatigue for the Chiefs and not a Mahomes fan. Too much Kelce and Taylor. I am not an Eagle fans fan... lol. I live to close to PA, and have seen some not so nice things. I am rooting for Hurts and Barkley to have good games, but really don't care who wins!

I really am hoping my boxes win, especially one for $2000! lol!
If it were the 49ers, then I would be much happier! Even the Bills or the Lions!

I will make some sort of appetizer. Not sure what yet.
We are heading to a friends house to watch. Right around the corner, so nice, easy and closer.
