So whatcha reading or what is on your summer reading list?

I'm reading Midnight Sun right now.

I have Pirate Latitude waiting for my to DL from the library & side-load to my nook.

My sis just gave me the entire sookie stackhouse series...I wasn't a big Twilight fan at all, but she promises they are much much better. We sort of watch True Blood, so I kind of know what they're about...DH usually watches it and I listen while I scrap :)

I have this one on pre-order...

Its been forever since I've read a book...& its on my "summer ofefinding me" to-do list. Hopefully I'll be adding something to the list soon...

I'm reading chick lit murder mysteries this summer. I have just finished the Blackbird Sisters mysteries in my library & am tracking down the rest. I am halfway through the Meg Langslow mysteries, which are set not too far from where I live & are hysterically funny.

I'm waiting on Sizzling Sixteen, the latest Stephanie Plum mystery to be published along with several others including Cut, Paste, Kill which is a scrapbooking thriller and a couple new Didius Falco books.

I've also got the Murder 101 series and the Highly Effective Detective series on my list plus currently a half a dozen other murder mysteries sitting on my nightstand waiting their turn.

I read fast though & most of these books can be read in under 2 days, some in less than 5 hours so I am looking for more series to occupy my time.
 
Well, I am anxiously awaiting Mockingjay (Hunger Games book 3) in August....until then, just whatever looks good at the library :)

yes yes, me too! thanks for reminding me :) mine has been pre-ordered for months! although I probably shouldn't have done that and just picked it up the day it's released!
 
Right now I'm rereading some of the Stephanie Plum series while my kids swim. I like to read while I'm laying by the pool, occasionally getting in the pool to cool down, then popping back out to my lounge chair in the shade.

We leave for our first vacation on Saturday, and I have the entire Sookie Stackhouse series waiting for me to start reading. I told myself I would start them until we're officially off on vacation.

I've also preordered Sizzlin Sixteen, Hangman by Faye Kellerman, and The Search by Nora Roberts. Pray for Silence by Linda Castillo and the new Stephenie Meyers book have been shipped and will hopefully be here before we leave.

Thanks for the reminder about Mockingjay. I just preordered. My 14 yo got me addicted to the series and she never could finish the second one. Ironic, huh?

I really really liked The Book of Lost Things...very good read :)
 
I'm currently reading the first Harry Potter book with DD. Then the first of the 39 Clues book came in today so we'll read that together next.

For me, I want to read the new Sookie Stackhouse book and my mom has The Kite Runner for me.

Where did you get it from? I'm dying to read it.
I just went and bought "the short second life of bree tanner" today and plan on reading it tonight.

I was on GR, but it's so hard to keep track of ANOTHER website - but thanks to Christine Newman - I see they have a FB application. :) That's MUCH easier for me. All in one place.

I'm reading the Dead Witch Walking series by Kim Harrison..I usually read whatever's free on amazon since they have new free books every week.

I'm also going to read the Bree Tanner book though I'm not too excited about it.

gosh - I have no clue! Definitely going to check out the books ya'll have posted. Right now I am reeading the Harry Potter series. And then I was thinking about reeading the Twilight series. But yeah - definitely need to head to the library!
