Summer Concerts

Going to a live concert is one of my favorite things ever especially in the summer when it's nice outside & stays light so long.

Anyways, I do my best to go to at least one every summer.

I'm definitely going to see Building 429 at the local 4H fair but I might also go see Hall & Oates (yes, really!) in Indy.

Do you like outdoor concerts? Do you go often? What's your favorite singer/band that you've seen in concert?
 
We have a great venue for outdoor concerts in our city but unfortunately the ticket prices are prohibitive to us going. However, we can hear them from our house :D
 
I do not. I do not like concerts at all... all the people omg all the people.

Lily went to her first concert on Friday and loved it SO much so now i've been looking to see if there is anything coming up she'd like to go to. She was supposed to go with my sister to the concert but my sister hurt her knee really bad in a skiing accident a few weeks ago so wasn't able to take her. Hoping I can find something for both of them to go to :)
 
Yes, Yes, Yes!! I love going to concerts with my girls!

They drag me to One Direction, 5SOS, Fifth Harmony, and Taylor Swift and I drag them to Barenaked Ladies!! Gotta get some oldies in there!I can't even tell you how many we went to last year :o

I only have 2 planned so far this summer.
 
I love concerts but not outdoor concerts. For one thing, here in Phoenix, it's 110 in the summer so no summer concerts! But, even in winter, I've not been a fan since I went to see a Jimmy Buffet concert a while back (just to see what all the hoopla was about). We had a lawn seats and the amount of public puking and urinating that went on at that concert was absolutely disgusting. So, basically, I want a seat and I want it to be indoors, preferably where bathrooms are conveniently located. :D

haha barenaked ladies? really? that surprises me :) I actually went to see them when I was a teenager.. they were fun :)

We saw them in July! Elyse was the youngest person there by 20 years! It was hilarious. Every time they'd swear everyone around us would cover her ears! I have tickets to see them again this summer - I think we're in the 3rd row. OMD and Howard Jones are with them. My teenager has the most diverse play list for someone her age :thumbup:
 
Kjersti, I saw BNL a couple of years ago in Chicago. They were touring with Blues Traveler! It was awesome. :)
 
Love concerts! But never went to an outdoor one unless you count the local symphony concerts in the park when I was a kid. Going to see Mercy Me next weekend and took my son to see Matthew West a few months ago.
