Summer Bucket Lists

Since there is a challenge for this, I thought it would be fun to actually make a list and try to do it all this year. What are your summer bucket lists? Help inspire me.

so far I have this (only going to write down the ones to do with kiddo). Mine are kind of local events, probably not helpful to others:
visit Chahinkapa Zoo
go to Detriot Lakes
Redhawks Game
visit the sand bottom pool
go on a hike
Duluth trip
Dickinson/Medora trip
learn to ride new bike
glow in the dark bubbles
Wednesday Pool Days
Try out Davies Pool
try out Madison Splash Pad
mini golf
Red River Valley Fair
Street Fair
picnic at the park
 
Free bowling for kids
sponge bomb fight (did this tonight and it was a BLAST!)


I know there are more but I can't think of them off the top of my head! I'll check my list I have written down and update my post :)

It's hanging on the wall in our kitchen. We've added a couple of things to it since I took this picture... Right now we're probably a third of the way through the activities.

It's been awesome. My 4 yo asks almost every day what we're doing for our 'funness' that day...

I have one written down on a sheet of paper. I can't remember exactly what is on it right now. We'll mostly start ours in July because I've spent most of June either sick or trying to clean up this house. LOL
 
Other ideas -
Play doh day
Cooking dinner over an open fire (hotdogs, aluminum foil packets with chicken and veggies, etc).
Watching the Olympics
Hosting your own Olympics
Going to see fireworks
Lighting sparklers
PJ Day - spend the whole day at home in your PJs. Great for rainy days.
Make an inside/outside fort
Send postcards to cousins, grandparents (anyone who lives out of town) make your own or get some cheap at Wal-Mart.
Water gun/balloon battle
Explore a tourist attraction in your hometown that you've never been to (or a park or a museum)
Build and obstacle course in the backyard.
Dive in movie (movie you watch from the pool)
Movie on the Lawn (borrow a projector and show a movie on a white sheet out in the grass)
Learn a few words in a new language
Learn about a new country
 
I forgot I was going to come back and do this after reading it on my phone!
