did you make an album for this shower? I recall you saying you were making some baby albums
 
I have an album that's about 1/3 finished, lol. Life got in the way big time. I don't have any pictures right now, but I'm gonna take them tomorrow. So far I have 9 pages done. The first is "patiently waiting", followed by a "mom says" and "dad says" (where they write a letter to the baby and then put it in the pocket behind the photo mat), and 2 page spread for months 1, 2, and 3.

I'm going to give it to her to look at, and then take it home and finish it, lol. She's not due for 2 more months, so I still have time. And hopefully by then they'll have a name picked out so I can make a "welcome home ________ " spread.
 
I made the build-a-bear today that goes with it (every month they take a picture of the baby with the bear, so they can see how she's grown) and it's SO cute. I got a cute teddy bear with a girly little dress and pink undies :D

I'm sure she'll cry when she sees it, lol. I just like making things for friends. She'd been saying that she was thinking of getting into scrapbooking, but it's next to impossible with a newborn. So this is an easy way to help her. :)

That sounds SO cool. I would love a hand made gift from a friend, or a family member, or heck even a stranger!
 
That is super thoughtful, Col. Love all the ideas! Especially the Build-A-Bear one! Wish I'd thought of that with my youngest niece, but I blinked and she's two already... time flies!
 
i love the bear idea! i wish I had thought to do monthly pics like that to see how my kids had grown.
 
If it wasn't several years away, I'd make one for myself while I was at it, LOL! After I finish this one, I'm making another one just like it for another friend who's having a baby boy. And then I have to make bridal shower invitations and favors for another friend.

I need an easy button that stops time. Please? LOL
 
i'm trying not to think about it much (yah right, lol)

i've been wanting to get on a CT so badly again since we got our internet up again a few months ago, but i'm kinda picky (lol) about who i want to be with. Which is okay, cause why would you want to scrap kits you don't like, right? But this CT call is the DA BOMB. The Call of all Calls, in my opinion!
