Such a long weekend.... finally home

We arrived about 1.5 hrs ago from a hockey tournament. It was just B and me. Usually hubby drives, so I am destroyed! We almost didn't make it to 2 games, we showed up for one 1hr ahead of schedule. OMG, what a mess! In her last game, they had 3 girls on the penalty box. Bianca stayed on the ice for 2mins and 12 seconds of those 3 almost simultaneous penalties! She was the PENALTY KILL QUEEN! I am seriously so tired and sore and SHE IS OUTSIDE SKATING! OMG.... to be young again!:blink:

I remember those weekends, getting up for work on Monday was always hard, lol.
 
Sounds exhausting to me!

We don't have that kind of sports here, and I feel so glad. We actually don't have ANY sports right now, since COVID, and I have to admit I miss spending my Saturday mornings watching Max play...but back then I was always wishing I didn't have to be at the field by 7:30 every Saturday morning.
 
Go B!!! That must have been so exciting for her to be on the ice for so long during penalties. But poor momma for the all the driving.
 
What an excited weekend for her. I feel ya on the driving. I feel like a taxi driver some days with the boys
 
That sounds like a super long weekend for mom! Brings back memories of karate and robotics for us...glad those days are over, but we did have a great time. Congrats on your daughter on the penalty kill. I miss watching hockey - grew up in Canada but there's not a lot of ice here in the "deep south" :D

I am getting hubby to get his wagon all checked out so I can use it next time. His wagon is so comfy you don't feel so exhausted at the end.

We went to North Carolina for a tournament and it was so weird to be warm and play hockey and that is only halfway down. LOL!!!!
