Submitting Your Layouts

I know there's few here that have submitted their layouts previously and been included/published in a few scrapbooking magazines.

So who here has? What magazines? Do you still submit to today? If you've never submitted, what's holding you back??
 
I didn't even know that there were digital submissions anymore. Years ago many of my friends were published (paper scrapping) but I never submitted. Once I went digi I no longer bought scrap magazines and lost touch of what's out there.
 
I had a couple of mine published way back when (2008? 2009?) in Somerset Studio magazine. I still have those issues around here somewhere. I haven’t submitted anything since then. Are there still scrapping magazines?
 
Way back when I was on the creative team at Digital Scrapbook Place, we were required to submit to publications every month. I've had quite a few published in Somerset Digital Studio (which sadly no longer exists) and also Australian Scrapbooking Memories. I have copies of all the magazines that I'm published in. I haven't submitted in years and honestly didn't know anyone was still taking digital submissions. I was at a Books a Million on Saturday and I picked up a copy of a Canadian scrapbook magazine and there were a couple of layouts in it by Trina Jones so I guess there are still places to submit digital pages.

Yup Trina is the one that I know has submitted and been published many time in the more recent times

Yup I remember at DSP when everyone would submit to places :)
 
One of the first digital places I visited in 2008 was DSP. I still have tutorials I downloaded from there!

As for layout submission, never did any of that.

There are!! :) Creative Scrapbooker doesn't put a ton of digi pages in their magazines but they do put in a sprinkling throughout the magazine. Kinda cool you recognized my name lol (although they did screw up the credits, and my hometown in that issue!).

I've been published a lot. I submit a lot lol They tend to like pages that could be paper pages.

I published a few pages some years ago, when DST still existed. I don't do it any more, though. I prefer to use the time to actually scrap than making the submission. ;)

Ha! I had forgotten all about that Heather! Gosh, DSP, such fond memories from that site! Back when digital scrapping was just ramping up!! :hugs:
 
Many moons ago I had a few layouts published, can't tell you where though - LOL. I do however; have the magazines stashed away somehwere!!

CONGRATS Trina - ! That's awesome!
