stupid criminal award!!

This guy today should defenitely get the award for the stupidest criminal ever!! Here is what happened today...

My husband came home from work early to get an old van out of our yard and take it down to the scrap yard. Ive been on him to get rid of it for quite awhile and he just hasnt had time. So he gets it all ready and he gets down to the scrapyard and is waiting in line to get paid for it and he hears the lady talking about how a guy came in today to scrap a 2008 Chevy truck!! That set off the redflags so while the guy is there they locked down the scrapyard and called the police who came and arrested him. His story was it was his grandfathers truck who just passed away LOL. Sooo ummm yea if thats the case why wouldnt you just SELL IT?!?!? Anyhow that just cracked me up when he told me that. I know that the people there were probably thinking what an idiot he was.
 
It totally does!! We really needed the money because his bosses wife made a big mistake on my husbands check last week and they keep going back and forth on what happened (but he still hasnt been paid the missing money :-( ). So it defenitely came in handy right now!!

Too funny. Glad you got him to get the cash and hope some is left over after the bts stuff...you deserve some fun after getting that together!
 
what a moron!

it sucks working for a small company when it comes to paycheck debates... we're going through that now, too.
 
Sucks with a large company too...my husband worked for a large dealership here in Orlando (the owners own several dealerships) and they would regularly backflag his hours or not pay him for hours he flagged. In case you dont know what I mean he does bodywork and he gets an estimate with hours for body labor. Say it has 20 hours on it well he gets 14.50 an hour and those 20 hours no matter if he does it in 2 hours or 40 hours. So when he is backflagged they say it is because he flagged to many hours on a job. Without going into all the details he found proof that his hours were going to other bodytechs at the job when their hours were not adding up so he quit and went to the new job thinking it would be better but its not. Verry frustrating to try to work out a budget for the week and figure out the amount the paycheck should be and have it be 150, 200 even 250 less then what it should be :thumbdown:
