 is this tread allowed. please don't kill me, designers. :D

i just wanted to say that i need a few things...anyone else need anything. :p

my small teeny weeny list:

rounded edges templates in different sizes.

more acrylic packs...like one with all kids of weird stuff like flourishes, swirlies and stuff.

paper tears, folds and stuff like that.

When you say rounded edge templates, do you mean squares, rectangles and stuff with rounded corners? or layouts templates incorporated rounded corner photos places?

How about transparent overlays? Not to grunge/distress paper but kind of like vellum paper I guess? Hm. I've seen these around and they look awesome. Ones with a bit of pattern to them but nothing too bold, just something that would give a little extra texture to already pretty paper, kwim?

And if there's already some in the store, point me in the right direction will ya? :D

Curved templates, like waves or hills. Because I have PSE 4 and it is really hard to make a curved line. Or text on a path, because, I can't do that either. Like a png. with text on a path.

doodled borders. we don't have a pack of doodled borders do we?

YES!! Doodle borders!! I am obsessed with the one in the new Shauren kit, "And I Love You".

And yes, the rounded edge templates (squares AND rectangles) would be great too!!

The templates that make your paper look like frayed fabric. I need those.

Yes, more date stuff too. I have a huge obsession with date stuff.

Kristin was going to do these once..and was afraid they would be dumb or not sale..lol now they are everywhere! I tried to tell her hehe

I want round edge templates so I can do this easily - (Hope you don't mind me using you as an example Sara!) :)

I want to be able to have pics that are square and rectangle with rounded edges. Maybe a few diff shapes/sizes like that that I could just clip my pic or paper to....

Yep! That's what I want also because I am to lazy to do it myself LOL!

Yes yes yes.. those.. someone make those!!!!!

ok no offense..i'm kinda giggling at the rounded templates...you know you can make a rounded square/rectangle, etc with your shape tool right? just make the radius higher like 40-50px?

I can totally do this for you and have them in the shop this weekend, but before I do, do you know you can use your custom shape tool in PS or PSE and create your own clipping masks faster than you can open a template and drag it onto your page? If you'd rather have the template - no problem, but if you'd like a DIY tut, let me know.

you guys don't need templates! That's just as many steps as doing it yourself.

Just select your shape tool, select the rounded corner box. Draw box, simplify, put behind your paper, Ctrl+G (clip), Ctrl+E (merge) & voila. Done.

ETA: LOL, I guess like 4 of us all answered at the same time, haha!

Exactly what I was wondering. Do people really want to pay me to do this for them? Cool :)

ROUND EDGES HOW TO!!!
Again, I am using PSE4. And I can make rounded corners. In the cookie cutter tool
, I have a shape that looks like a square, and it has rounded corners. Check into it!

And as for wants, I realy like those mattes that look like they have been hole punched, or like the words where every letter is connected somehow so you can group.

My problem w/ doing the rounded corners myself is that in PSE5 (at least, as far as I can tell), you can't do rounded rectangles w/o making the corners look all creepy and stretched out. Squares are fine, but rectangles aren't cool.

hahaha i was going to tell people it's not that hard to do it yourself too. i've always done it myself :p

you lazy scrappers you. always looking for an easy way out

:D :D

i tried to explain rectangles to Lizzy once in thread somewhere; i even had screen shots. you just make a rounded square with the shape tool then duplicate it and line it up and overlap it so it looks like a rectangle. duplicat it however many times you need then merge the shapes and us it as a clipping mask. maybe there's an easier way but thats how i do it. i have PSE 6. i probably suck at explaining it though, sorry.

You PSE scrappers, I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it that ISN'T the cookie cutter one. I'm going to install PSE3 on here and check, but yeah, I'm almost 100% sure...

Which is a giant PITA. This is why I want templates. LOL
