Stories in Hand?

She uses Downcome for the BIG writing on the page and Diesel for the tabs.

You can get Downcome from dafont.com and the Diesel font at urbanfonts.com

I'm excited, cuz I LOVE PAISLEY PAPER! Lol!!

I can't wait to get a binder to get this stuff in. I'm gonna print it all out tonight and keep it in a folder all together until I get the binder :)

I got an email. It said there will be an archive of the emails. It is supposed to be on the course homepage but I'm not seeing it.

There will be an archive available for the emails that Jessica sends out. She's looking for it.

Mimi, it might not be up yet since she hasn't sent any class related emails. Or at least none that I've gotten, lol.

thanks for reminding me ladies ... I totally would have spaced this since I didn't get an email. I will go check out the forum tonight :)

My binder is done (I made my own with chipboard).

My title pages are printed.

My cardstock pages are printed with the exception of TWO.

My printer DIED.

I hope all it needs is a new cartridge.

That's all.

Show off.

I am feeling overwhelmed and can't even start downloading the forms. I need someone here to do the work for me and let me do all the remembering.

What if I just download and save everything and then while I'm home next month and my parents are chasing around little kids, I can print and assemble and contemplate. Would that work? She won't come after me for not keeping up?

Oops, Samara, sorry. :( What i meant to say was,
[will you]Show off[yours for me so I can be inspired to make my binder?]

LMAO!!! I totally get what you are saying!!!

I'm kinda bummed cause I don't have work tomorrow and I'm totally feeling inspired and now I can't print. :(

Kelliiiieeeeee! No feeling overwhelmed! The downloading and printing are NOT the important parts! The important thing is to get those stories down.

So. Sit back, and relax. Take a deep breath. Inhale. Exhale.

Go over there and download the stuff, and save it. Don't worry about printing it. Just get it, and save it.

Inhale, exhale. Repeat.

Col...

I am beginning to think that you are the "projects coordinator" for all of us!! You are great at keeping everyone going!

I have the binder done, I made my own, and I am going to start printing the pages soon...I am so into this one. I need to work on my Ali Edwards' book today too!!

I'm just passionate Aaron :) Especially with something as important as the stories of our lives. I wish with all my might that I had sat down with my grandfather and written down all his stories before he passed. About growing up in Ireland and then moving to America, going to school in NYC 70 years ago, being in the Navy, etc etc etc.

This hobby is about the memories and the stories. And if we don't record them, they are lost forever.

I've never done a Jessica Sprague class before - but I have to say I am SO SO impressed so far! It is so well organized, well written instructions and the info is AMAZING! I can't imagine how much time was spent putting all that together! I'm loving the prompts - I want to make a book for my mom to do for me and my brother!

Ew. I do not agree with Chef Ramsey Hotness.

Hey - no dissin on the Chef Ramsay hotness!!

But, thanks for the motivation. I am finished printing my Day 1 pages out - just waiting on my album to show up so I can prettify it!

Oh what a nice idea Mimi!
I have a different album than what she used so I need to resize, and since it's the first time Im going to do something close to hybrid, Im now paralyzed with fear LOL Im even considering just getting the same album to be done with it LOL.

But yes, the prompts are so priceless!!!!

Lookin' GOOD! I have everything printed. Now to CUT ALL OF THOSE PAGES!! My Cover and Title pages are done. Still not in a binder... trying to decide what I want. This project is AMAZING!!
