I've been lurking for quite some time and started to post just recently. I'm still trying to figure out how everything works around here.... So here is a list of my questions. So I'm wondering what is a role for Sugar Babes? Some members get to scrap with the new releases prior to the release date. Do you work for the designers?

I just want to say that I really like this forum. There is a good mix of posts about scrapping, scrap projects and just every day life.

The sugar babes are the lucky girls who are on the site's creative team and get to work with the products before they release.
 
Hi Monika. Sugarbabes are the store creative team. We have access to the entire store, and create layouts for the designers to use in their advertising. We help with blog posts, tutorials, challenges, promotions, and any special events throughout the year. It's a dream position and we work hard to help SSD be the best it can be.

Many designers also have their own separate creative teams (CT) as well, and their CT get to play with that designers kit prior to release date. Some scrappers are lucky to work for several designers. Whoever you work for, you are welcome to show your layout in the sneak peak thread each week.
 
Welcome. Still new here myself, but I love it. The people are very nice! And there is a lot of beautiful inspiration!
