Starting the couch to 5K this morning...

I love this program but I think the name is very deceiving. There's no way someone who has been doing NOTHING (couch) could just get up and start week 1 day 1... I had been working out on the treadmill for a few months religously and I struggled through the 1st week.

I need to restart it though, I haven't been working out at all for a couple months and I feel horrible!

I dunno, I did. And I'm 60lbs overweight. It wasn't easy AT ALL but I'm SUPER stubborn. I'd have had to literally DIE before I'd give up. LOL

Although, ask me again next Friday when I try the 2 miles. :unsure:
 
I have started and restarted this I don't know how many times.

I think if I stuck to it, I could run a long way. I can go from couch to running 2k straight (4k total), so I often wonder how good it would be if I were actually IN shape. I'm about 40 pounds over my usual weight, about 60 pounds overweight.

That is awesome, Traci!!! I really need to get my butt in gear with exercising but DS ruined my bladder when I was pregs and I pee when I just sneeze so running is out of the question lol. i really need to get that fixed lol, but i digress!

I am also really digging the new specs!!! You look a little like Sarah Palin (hehe had to say it since I just read your Palin post lol). I actually got hit on at a bar using the pick-up line (if you can even call it that) "Hey, you look like Sarah Palin" <<pause for my weird look in response>> "No no that is a good thing! She is hot! Can I buy you a shot?" LMAO! Ok, sorry, that was really random! lol
