Hey There! I recently switched from PC to Mac and I'm taking it slow, learning, adding things from my external HD and trying to figure out how to set things up. If you've been through this, what do you wish you would have done differently? Thanks!
The one good thing about a Mac is that the operating system looks so much like the iPhone operating system. It feels familiar to me. What is hard are the keyboard shortcuts and trying to decide where to save things. Good luck with your new iPhone! I hope you love it in the end.
Zero advice here. Switched away from macs many years ago just before ipods and iphones came out and and their was a software drought for them. Plus at the time my father could get a killer deal for me on a pc. The funny thing about your post is that macs were always advertised as the easy computer to use.
I did this switch many years ago, but use a PC daily for work so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask me I think the thing I wish I had done earlier was fully integrate my photos. I used my exiting windows 'folder' type system for 2-3 years after switching, and once I put them all into Photos and realized they'd sync with my phone, life changed!!!
