Spring Break (Staycation) Plans?

Hey y'all! We'll be on Spring Break next week, and I have a couple of things lined up for us to do but with 10 days with both kids 24/7... I need more ideas! :p

If you've already had Spring Break, did you & your kids do anything fun or cool? If not, what do you have up your sleeve when your Spring Break does roll around?

We might take a day to drive to Chicago or Indy but otherwise we'll just be staying around town. There is a puppet show & Little Mermaid tea party (two different days, not at the same time -- LOL!) at the library that we'll be attending + a morning-long animal sounds mini-camp at the zoo. My sister & I will probably take the bigs to the putt-putt place where she & I used to work back in the day since they're opening for the season this Friday.

Our plans are set yet but was looking at Mrs. Grossman's sticker factory! I heard it was really cool for the Kids!

Our Spring Break was last week. We didn't do a whole lot. Work kind of took the fun out of that. We did go to Santa Cruz, Monterey and Pacific Grove the first weekend for my Mom's birthday. Last weekend we went up to our friend's cabin for the weekend.

We have a Disneyland trip coming up 4/17-4/20 so we couldn't really do a whole lot.

We had spring break last week. We really didn't do much because we live where people travel for spring break and it's a mad house to go anywhere the tourists would go... so the zoo, beach, parks, etc are out of the question. Even the community pools are jam packed. LOL It's annoying, but we homeschool so we get to go to those places when everyone is in school.

We had spring break last week and we started it off by going to Disneyland after school that Friday, then we had a birthday party the sat...during the week we didn't do much since we both work, but we did take my daughter out to dinner that following thurs for her birthday. Then we had a birthday party this past sat for her at the rollerskating rink..that was fun! Sunday we stayed home and did spring cleaning. She also had Monday off but I had to work...overall it was a fun and relaxing staycation (with work lol)

Springbreak in the netherlands is the last week of april and the first week of may.
we are going 2 days to movieworld germany

Our Spring Break starts Friday and we don't have anything planned. We don't usually travel during Spring Break.

Our daughter's bday is April 1st so we're always finding a way to celebrate that. This year we have a sleepover and some fun time at a local entertainment center (arcade, go-karts, laser tag etc) for her and a few friends.

Other than that, I'll be spring cleaning and hoping it's nice enough for the kids to get outside!!! :D

We don't have spring break until the week of April 18th. I'm working and Cheyanne has track practice every day. We won't be doing much. If on my days off (Sun/Mon) we actually have a day with no rain and the temps are above 50 we might hit Acadia for the day. Probably will do a movie and spring clean the garage - such excitement :D Our spring break is only 5 school days, so it goes by fast.

We had 2 weeks also and didn't do much...which was nice actually. We did go to the zoo and got year long passes, but that is about it. We are trying to plan to go somewhere this summer though.

ours is this week. I'm still babysitting so we're just maintaining :D

today we went to the park before it rains but....that's about it.

Ours was last week. My mom, sister and nephew came to visit for a couple days. We took the kids bowling, skating, to the park, and out to eat for lunch. We had a game day where we played tabletop games and video games. We rode bikes. It was just a pretty chill week where the kids did the things they wanted to do, but don't have time to do after school with sports and homework.

Our spring break was 2 weeks ago.... we didn't really do much.... at that time it was still cold and either raining or snowing, anything local is still closed for the off season, so it was just a week at home for us.

We cleaned for the whole week :D Good spring cleaning, and my girls finally got their rooms cleaned properly after weeks of me telling them and them having all privileges taken away. It was a long boring week.
