Speaking of trees...

Ours goes up this weekend, but I'm having a really hard time getting motivated to do it. It's such a chore. Maybe that means I should simplify, huh? :D

We just bought a new (artificial) tree yesterday and it went up this morning. It's pre-lit and about half the size of our last tree, so it was so easy!

We are all WAY too allergic to have a real one. Hats off to those that do. Lol.

So are we! But we do. :p

It DOES bother our allergies, and it's such a mess but we have always had a real tree because I love the way it smells & looks. I never felt this way before, but I want a fake tree so badly now... mostly for how easy they are to deal with. Unfortunately, we don't have the space to store it. :( This year might be our last with a real tree because next Christmas we should be in a bigger house with an attic & garage!!! Yay.

I totally buy scentsicles, air freshener, and candles that all smell like a real tree to help add to the feel. so worth it to have the convenience of a fake tree and how little shedding it does.

Ours goes up the day after Thanksgiving. It works out well now that the kids are in college. Right now it only has lights on it, but that's enough for me. We got the garland up in all the rooms and all the other decorations. The ornaments are mine to do over the next week or so.
