Soooo I have this wedding to go next month. 2 friends from college, part of the whole crew, first big wedding of our bunch, you know how it is. And I was looking around for a new dress because they've all seen all the ones I have. And I went to JCrew's sale section, but saw a "little black dress" link, so obviously clicked on it (I also need a dress for the rehersal dinner, cuz I'm now doing a reading, so that's another dress I wasn't expecting on buying, but, whatever).

And I'm in love. It's way more expensive than I would normally spend on just another dress for a wedding. But. I can get it in RED! And I've been trying (rather unsuccessfully) for like 3 years to get a red dress for our big fancy company christmas party. And I can wear it to stuff for OUR wedding next year too (assuming I don't balloon up and gain 50 lbs and if I do I'll probably just cancel the wedding cuz omg). I'm totally in love it. In Vintage burgundy. And I know the style will look fantastic on me. Did I mention I'm in love with it?

 
that isnt to bad for a dress. I also like to check David's Bridal as they have really awesome dresses there too. Might have a similar style for less there and they have sooo many colors!!
 
I think the price is reasonable........It can be dressed up or down and is quite timeless..................

That is a gorgeous dress Col! It's WAY more than I would ever pay for a dress for myself, but if you can afford it and think you'll be able to get lots of wear out of it then you should splurge!!
 
Yea, totally splurged, lol. I'm so excited!! Now I just need a cute lil black clutch to go with it and I'll be SET! Lol!!
 
Oh honey its absolutley beautiful! Red is one of my favorite colors to wear too, it will look awesome on you Im sure! You are gonna have to model it for us when it comes in!
 
That dress is hawt and very classic and timeless, so I say, way to splurge, Col! :thumbup:
 
That is GORGEOUS!! Wishing I had the body right now to look smashing in something like that! making yourself feel fabulous is an investment. :)
 
okay, I finally see it! It's beautiful!! I think you should totally get it in 2 colors! (That is what I do when I find something that I adore. LOL)

It's gorgeous, Col. I would SO wear a dress like that... to anywhere I could get away with it!! *lol*
