Space Force before Air Force

I have been patiently waiting for Meghan's Armed Forces: Air Force, and was so surprised to see Space Force today. I thought for sure I had missed the Air Force kit; the Space Force isn't even its own department, it falls under the Air Force. lol Just teasing, and I will continue to patiently wait so I can scrap some of my many Air Force photos.

Maybe someone requested it. I know I requested Coast Guard and she did it for me several weeks later.

Have to admit, I was surprised Coast Guard got one before Air Force, too. lol

Yeah. I requested it since I had photos from a Coast Guard station on Cape Cod during my vacation in October. I didn't have any kits that worked for it and when I saw she was doing the Armed Forces, I asked if she was including Coast Guard. She said yes and she would put it on her release schedule. I did have to wait for it but it was worth it!

Let her know you are looking for Air Force.

Sorry! Lol
When I first planned out the armed forces series, it was showing online that the space force was its own branch but as I researched for this kit I saw where it said it was more under air force. I had made the air show kit first so was just trying to put some space between the air show kit and an air force kit. But that is the final armed forces kit ( saved the best for last )
Any particular requests or special things to include?

As another former airman, when I hear Space Force, I do chuckle a little! LOL! Mostly because I think of that show Steve Carell did on Netflix, Space Force, so I think of that every time I hear it. Although when I was in, we one of the few places my AFSC could work was space command.

Ah how times change. I feel so old. :p

And with that, I understand. Plus yesterday was the Air Force birthday. :)

The Space Force is a separate branch, but it falls under the Department of the Air Force.

That show was so funny. We do make fun of the Space Force a lot, but then I wonder if the Army did that to us when we separated almost 80 years ago. lol

I bet! LOL!

We were always the butt of all the jokes when I was in, but now it sounds like the torch has been passed! :D

I feel bad for the Marines. They do fall under the Department of the Navy but operate as a distinct service branch within the Department of Defense aka War Department.

If you did Space Force on its own, you really ought to do one for the Marines as well. The Marines I know do not consider themselves a part of the Navy.

Thanks! I found my original list, and yes, the plan was the Marines would have one too. I just forgot how to count there will be a 6th and final armed forces kit in the future to represent the 6 branches of the military.

Thank you!

Actually, their 250th birthday is November 10, 2025. The Second Continental Congress authorized the raising of two battalions on that day. They've been around a long time!

Oh man, I didn't even notice Marines was missing.

Thank you for the Air Force one! I bought it this weekend.
