sooo um designer call??

i'm so excited to see who the new designers will be :) i don't do much non-CT shopping - but i've been a fan of shabby miss jenn's since i started scrapping and i love paislee press and creashens too!

Shabby Miss Jenn would be a good fit and a bit of a different style.

This thread made me think about designers I hadn't seen in a bit (I think it was that Mindy Terasawa reference). How about Mary Fran/Nitwit Collections? Man, I used to love her stuff. Such a distinctive style, too.
 
I do a lot of lurking and shopping on this site.. so I am excited to see who will be joining. :) You all have mentioned several awesome designers. I CT for Jennifer Labre Designs and I think she would be a great addition to this awesome group of designers. Her designs are elegant and super detailed.

I can't wait to see who joins! This is very exciting time! Yeah!

Wow, I can not believe that my name has been mentioned in here. Totally brought tears to my eyes! I feel loved and that's an awesome feeling! Thank you so much!!!!! Made my day!
 
I agree with Heather that opening up some more diverse styles would be amazing! I have a ton of crushes I would love to see come here and most of them have been mentioned. I know that Robin and the team will not disappoint us in who they choose. I am sure whoever gets chosen will make this place even more wonderful! Can't wait to see who it is!
 
I cannot wait to see who it is really. There are so many amazing designers mentioned here too. I do shop outside SSD at a few other shops (and most of them SSD has done collab work with a few times LOL) but I know whoever is asked to join will be amazing and I am sure the designers here will torture us all once they find out who it is going to be until the final reveal ;)
 
So....of those designers who ARE going to apply here at SSD, is anyone brave enough to tell us if they are putting their application in?
 
All of the suspense is crazy! Can't wait for the new designers! There are so many already mentioned that I absolutely LOVE!

I love some of the ones that have been named. How about Gina Miller or Karah Fredericks? Karah has released some alphas that I just love, love, love!

these are all wonderful nominations! I love just about all of them and even found some I hadn't heard of. I would personally be too nervous to apply! LOL
 
In the newsletter this past week Robin said they have had some "delicious designers" apply-that sounds great! Can hardly wait!
 
It'll be a while yet. The deadline to apply isn't until the 29th, and we've set March 15 as the date by which we hope to have our decisions made. Even then, once we notify the new designer(s), it'll probably be a bit before it's announced to the public because they will need time to notify their current store and make arrangements. It takes a long time to set up in a new shop. :)

Plus, you guys know how we like to tease and torment around here. You don't expect us to tell you TOO soon, do you? LOL
 
As much as I hate to wait, announcing some new designers for NSD in May would definitely be a big draw...and LOL make us bog down the store even more than usual :D
