I just saw this on a crafts blog and thought I'd share:

this is awesome, thanks for sharing!! And totally with number 29... I've had to unsubscribe to the gallery standout blogs... it was totally stressing me out!

I squeeed when I saw this, because it *so* talks from my heart. I totally think that very often creativity becomes a source of stress, whereas it's meant to be ENJOYED.

If I don't have mojo, I take a break. If I don't feel like it, I do something else. If I can't do something within a deadline, I pass it. It it's not perfect, I don't mind (this one I learned with years - oh the wisdom of age! :-). If I'm stuck, I try something else. I admire the work of others, but I don't compare myself with them (truly, madly, deeply - I'm a comparing type, but not in this). It's a very rewarding approach.

I have stress enough at work and life to be concerned about my hobbies, but I often see people stressing over the fact that they don't do creative things as planned, so I thought I'd share the wise words. :-) There's so much REAL stress in life, there's no need to think up of new creative (hehe) ways to get stressed.
