to the whole state of Florida!! It is seriously cold here. I know not compared to the rest of the country but two days ago it was shorts/tanktop weather and now I'm wearing sweats inside the house with the heat on and I'm still cold. Of course it doesn't help my son turned the heat off in the middle of the night. I checked the weather for the rest of the week and the low is in the 30's with the high somewhere around 50 all week long. This would not be so bad if it was consistent but once this cold front moves out we will be back into the 80's for a week or two then back down for a couple days.

I would kill for that weather. Its -9 here and it was even colder yesterday. I hate, hate, hate cold (real cold ;))

LOL yea I know alot of people say they would love for it to be that "warm" but seriously when you live here and get used to having it warm for most of winter then it gets cold like it is now it feels soo much colder. I remember one day we went to Busch Gardens and it was like 40 almost all day and there were some people who were waiting for the bus with my family who were from England and they were laughing at us because we were really bundled up and still really cold and some of them were wearing shorts. They asked us if we were from Florida and we said yes and they told us yea we could tell because of how you were reacting to the weather. I asked them if it was not cold to them and they said no it felt nice!!

We're at 18F right now...and snow from last week's blizzard is still on the ground. So I'm guessing we have a while to go before it completely melts.

we will be back up there to at the end of next week. I really dont mind it being cold I just wish the transition was more gradual. Like summer fades into fall and fall into winter. Here it is more like one really long hot summer that gets a little cooler then in the middle of winter we get this huge blast of cold thats like 50 degrees what it was the day before

Uh yeah...cold???? Just kidding. This morning I went to the store and at 9:00 am, it was -4. Yes. -4. We have about a foot of snow still on the ground and I think the high this whole week is supposed to be in the teens. I would be happy to see 40 degrees!!! I suppose though, when you are used to the 70's and 80's, 40 does seem "cold." ;)

I agree with ya Jessica! Consistency would be nice. I like the cold, just not 30 one day and 80 the next. It really screws with my clothing planning LOL!

soo cold here too..I Know so cold to me (it's high 20's here) isn't cold to some people but when its like 40-50 in the winter here 20's is colllld

sometimes in the same day LOL I hate when you leave the house and it is cold then halfway through the day its so hot and you dressed for the cold.

I am in North Florida and it was like 39 coming home about 6:00, we liked to have froze to death walking to our car from the mall. Guess we will have to cancel our Sunday afternoon ride on our ranger, which I am not too happy about.

currently it is 2.4 degrees, but -10 with the windchill! it's very cold! our room is drafty, and the vent isnt hooked up so i have a space heater in here, just put drapes over our patio doors and have a blanke over the door to the garage. hopefully it helps.

I KNOW! It's only supposed to be a high of 48 here tomorrow! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr -- way too cold for this FL girl!!

I think it made it to around 55 here today.... which is still too dang cold for me!!!! Yet, I keep telling DH that I want to live where it snows and that I'll get used to the cold. He laughs (he's from Iowa) at me and says "yeah right....".

that is the same thing my husband told me!! He is from New Jersey/Maryland (lived in both states as a kid and moved here at 13) so he knows how cold it can get LOL

we went to Lake Eola yesterday which is in downtown Orlando. Basically a huge lake with trees all the way around it. Well trees equal shade and it was soooo cold walking around that lake!! My nose was frozen as were my ears and my hands (only parts of me not covered LOL) You can defenitely tell who is from out of town and who is a true Floridian when it gets cold here. I was bundled up and still freezing and there were people out in shorts/tanktops and flip flops. Thinking what the heck is wrong with these people? Then you hear them talking and can tell they are from out of town by their accents

You can sure tell those of use who are natives, bundled up like it is 20 below lol. It's crazy, we left church at noon today and it was only up to 37. My friends in Nebraska was fussing about having to shovel snow and the snow plow thingy came behind her and pushed more snow in her driveway. What I wouldn't give to see snow like that. My kids have never played in snow. I say I would live to see the snow but I wouldn't change were I live for anywhere in the world, I am to addicted to watersports in the summer to live anywhere else. :)

Yeah, I am in Nebraska...and we have surpassed our average total of snow for the whole year already and it is only Jan 3rd. We usually average around 25 inches a year and we have already had close to 30 inches. And the whole snow plow issue is quite annoying. :) And yes, it is snowing again! I'd be glad to share!!!

Looks like we might be getting snow Thursday or Friday. I want snow like the kind that is white and deep, where we could go get on garbage lids and go down hills, well we dont have hills, maybe ride behind a 4-wheeler and get pulled, and build a huge snowman and put a gator colored scarf around his neck. A girl can dream right?
