Someone hold me back...

omg...his shirt says it all!!!! Abby wrote on a little lampshade she had and when I asked her about she said "Peyton did it" then I said "Abby, then why does it say ABBY on it" LOL!!!

DH said that these pictures are worth more than getting the couch professionally cleaned. Melted my heart. :)

aw!! what a sweetie!! My hubby would have been furious!!! And probably even more mad that I stopped to take a pic. LOL!

LOL! Priceless....caught! This is when they start to realize that mommy is smarter than them.

Oh My. I would cry! I hope you get it off. My son already scribbled on our couch and the walls, the radiator, floors, you name it. But our couch is dark leather and the part I didn't get off doesn't show very much. But on such a light colored couch... I hope you find a miracle product!

Omg, that is awful, but funny at the same time :D I hope you can get it out somehow! Love the innocent look on his face!

I'm so impressed that you are handling this calmly and with some laughter. I would have had a cow. But the photo is priceless. :)

i know i cried for you. I'm stunned at how you have such a great attitude about it. I'd be uh freaked, to say it mildly. LOL

Definitely one of those photos that you'll appreciate later more than you do right now! But your DH's response was so sweet. I have had...more than a few photos like that. There's one couch that I don't even bother trying to clean it off anymore. Only washable Crayola materials allowed in our house ('cause some of the other brands' washable seems not to be), but on that 1 couch it doesn't seem to matter. Thankfully, washable does seem to help on everything else. Good luck getting it off!

Can you say KCB "Here Comes Trouble"?!

That is really adorable when its somebody else's kid!

oh wow - you have a great attitude! and the pics are adorable! and this *will* be a super cute story one day :) good luck getting it cleaned - i hope it's easier than expected!

Your DH has a great attitude about it!

Oh boy, Yari. Good luck with that. This is exactly why we don't have one single solitary piece of nice furniture in our house. And, we probably won't for quite a few years.

ETA: I love that his shirt simply says, "BOY." No need to explain any further. :D

Same here! We have the same furniture we got the year we got married. Next month we'll celebrate 14 years so you can guess how old the furniture is. LOL It has been repaired a few times over the years and we just keep using it because I hate the thought of spending a lot and getting something we love only to have the kids mess it up. My aunt had the same sectional from the time she got married until her youngest was 17 (about 25 years) and that thing was so beat up by the time she got rid of it but it had been through everything and held up.. and it was a dark brown and didn't show all those kid stains. ;)

Oh no.

We stopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond tonight and the "special" that the girl wanted to sell was some non-toxic cleaner that you could use on your carpet and she kept stressing that you could also use it on the upholstery of your car. Don't know if it would help with your couch but there was a list of types of stains you could use it on at the register.

I called to find out the name of it: Folex Professional Carpet Spot Remover.

And I'm not in business with Bed Bath and Beyond or this stain product. Just a coincidence and maybe it could help.

ETA: Those photos are precious.

Ahhhhhh!!! First of all, his face is SOOOOOO sweet! Totally got that innocent look down.
My inner spaz is freaking out a little for you! I hope you were able to get it out!!

LOL! Thanks! Yes, they are "washable" but it's not coming off easily. Some friends suggested some methods to clean it so I will try that.

DH said that these pictures are worth more than getting the couch professionally cleaned. Melted my heart. :)

Oh my goodness!!! I got a DARK brown couch for that reason. I would call a professional carpet/sofa cleaner of some sort. They might be able to do a real job.

Gasp! Thanks for the reminder to get dark furniture and no markers for a long long time. Hope you get it out but what a story!

omg...his shirt says it all!!!! Abby wrote on a little lampshade she had and when I asked her about she said "Peyton did it" then I said "Abby, then why does it say ABBY on it" LOL!!!

My abby did this too.. on the wall.. and then said she didn't do it. I said... abby.. it's your handwriting and YOUR NAME. I am so not stupid. Dang kids. :cursing:

How's it going Yari? Is it coming out at all? I would just curl up and cry, I think.

Caitrin colored all over the wall with markers the day after we brought her new brother home from the hospital. That was the only time she's ever done something like that though. The boy on the other hand... I had to touch up paint in his room, his sister's room and the living room where he had colored.

Oh, god... I hope you were at your MIL's house when this happened... LOL! Eeeeek. I'm so 'Monica Geller' about these things, I'd just curl up and die. You're a trooper for grabbing your camera and trying to laugh it off...

{giggle} I would die SO MUCH MORE if this happened at my inlaws! Their house is always spotless; it's always so stressful for me to be there with my children.

And this is why we don't allow markers in our house. Or paint. Or bubble gum.

I hope it comes out, and if it doesn't at least now you'll have some great sex tonight. Or at least *I* would if my husband said something so darn in tune with who I am as a person, lol.

I'm so  that you had the presence of mind to snap a photo. And your DH? Yeah, that's a scrapbooker's DH, lol :D

Oh no! My DD colored on her carpet with markers when she was younger. We got some of it out, but you can still see it. It's hard to get too mad when they're so cute!

Ohhh this is so cute! But if it were me, I'll totally freak out! LOL! You were soooo cool, Yari

You guys are so awesome!! :)

So here's some kits I'm thinking would work to scrap these photos. What do you think? Help me choose! :)
