Some good news.....

Jeff went and bought me a new car... It's a 2006 Dodge Durango. He wanted me in something bigger and heavier. We got a good deal on it. We still don't know the settlement on my car other than that it is totaled. My mom took me today to get my hair highlighted and I really LOVE it, so I wanted to share.

Down at the bottom are pictures of some of the injuries if you want to look.

Congrats on the new car and pretty hair!

As for the seatbelt bruises on the kiddos, I nearly started crying here. Your poor babies. I hope they are not in pain.

Ouch, Sara. :( Those bruises on your babies made me wanna cry.

New ride looks nice as does your hair!

Oh Sara, those pics just break my heart!!! :( I sure am glad you are all okay though!!!!!! That's what's important!!! And yay for the bigger car!!! I wouldn't trade my full-size SUV for anything smaller (I do a LOT of freeway driving).

Oh the pics of the kids brought tears to my eyes, those poor babies :( Your hair looks great though, that was sweet of your mom!

Oh and you will love the Durango, my BIL & SIL have one (might even be the same year) and they love it and they had an older model Durango before trading for the newer one.

The bruises on those sweet babies just breaks my heart, but thank God bruises will heal. Love on each other, enjoy your family, and hey, your hair looks great! And LOVE that Dodge!

Gosh girl those photos of you children are heartbreaking...poor little poppets :( HOpefully they are recovering okay and haven't been too traumatised by everything.

And great new car and fabulous hair sweets!

lots of hugs!

How sweet of your mom! I know the kiddos got bruises from the seatbelts...and I bet it hurts...but so glad you are a mom that makes her kids wear them...from the looks of things from the accident pics...you wouldn't have had a family left if they hadn't worn them! Glad you were able to get a new vehicle...it looks nice!

Gah - I'm crying here looking at those pics of your babies! How scary for them - but thank GOODNESS for car seats! Amazing!

Great new car (yay for Jeff getting you something heavier - he must be super shook up too), and your hair is super cute - what a sweet mom you have to treat you!

Sara, I have to say that thank GOD for well installed car seats & seatbelts. I was just talking to my DH about car seats and stuff and your photos have just hit home with me.

CONGRATS on the new ride. I don't think I could drive...I think I would shy away for awhile....man...

I assure you I did NOT want to drive today. Jeff went back to work today, and I had no choice. It was hard, but I did it.

Glad you are getting back on the road, Sara. That's probably the best thing to help you get past this.

Those bruises are so sad to see, but I totally agree with the THANK GOD FOR SEATBELTS comments. They definitely worked like they were supposed to!

omg, those seatbelt bruises on the babies! poor babies! but they may have saved their lives...

glad you got another, bigger and safer, car! and your hair looks great!

Oh wow - sooo scary and those pics are heartbreaking. But at least you will all heal physically, thank goodness.

And your hair looks fabulous - what a wonderful Mom you have! Love the new ride, too!

Aw sweetie...my eyes are filled with tears. Thank God for seatbelts though!
Your hair looks fab, and woohoo on the new ride!!

Nice wheels Sara!

I remember after I beat up my van (on icy roads) I ended up driving in a super snow storm just a couple of weeks later. I was glad after, because if not, I would have developed a phobia. It sucked though, SO bad.

I am so thankful you guys are ok!

So glad you got a new car and that you are all ok. So sad to see the kids bruises but thank god you were all wearing seat belts and you are all ok.
