Soldier's Memorial Page Quote Ideas

I'm doing a memorial page to honor the life of a young soldier who recently passed away. It will feature photos of him both in uniform and with a family who was his unofficial adopted family (the page is a gift to this family). Anyway I'm looking for ideas for a quote or scripture that might be appropriate for the page. He was a soldier and a man of faith with a wildly silly side who was always kind in spite of his many personal hardships.

Ideas? This is hard.
