I'm hosting my first sleepover party for my oldest (who is EIGHT now! akk!)

and it is 1:41 am, and there are still three little boys awake in my living room! hahaha! I thought they'd eventually drop off to sleep on their own... but it's not looking hopeful!

Really I don't care so much, i'd probably be up anyways, but lordy their parents are gonna HATE ME! (and ofcourse MY son is the widest awake of the bunch LMAO)

OH MY! I've finally gotten my 12 yo to learn to go to sleep at a reasonable hour during a sleepover. He knows the damage he does to himself the next day now but his first one he was 8 or 9 and they stayed up till 2am and it was not pretty the next day and I so was not liking that kids mom! Good luck Shawna! ;)
 
You can't enforce a bedtime in that sort of situation &I think most parents would understand that. From what I remember of my sleepover days - heaven help the person who fell asleep first! All sorts of pranks would get played on that person.
 
well it was 2:15 when we finally got them to sleep LMAO - and that was because i made them do it! hahaha

the one thing to be said for it, is it is 8 now and most of them are still sleeping, LOL!!!
 
Ugh I dread sleepovers! When my daughter comes home from one she is Queen Crankiness. But I still let her sleepover.

Hope they sleep in and aren't cranky when they wake up.
 
My daughter and her best friend do the same thing. I think as long as the kids have fun and you survived the parents will forgive you for it. :)
