So, what ARE we going to do?

Weeeell, at the risk of being a stick in the mud, I'm somewhat looking forward to it. I'm going to scrap and I'm going to get other crap done. I definitely need to change my web habits in the interest of having better work habits, and this will be a good kickstart. Yes, it'll be hard but we're all going to live.

I know I'll sound like a hardass, but I really think we should just let Robin and her web peeps focus on all they have to do and not make them worry about keeping a forum open for us or anything. It'll be so worth it in the end, and just think of all you can get done. :)
 
I don't like real life. *pouts* :D

I have a ton of shizz to do too, so it's probably for the best, especially after DSD shopping LOL!

But still, it's the first thing I do when I get on the computer in the AM!

LOL, yeah, I definitely won't be offline, but I'll certainly be doing a lot less of the refreshing that occupies all too much of my day. :D

I do seriously need to change up my web habits a lot, and I am looking at this as a good time to start doing it.
 
Can we start a thread at DST and hang out there? We can name it "SSD check in here"....that's gonna be an extra looooooooooooooooong thread though. LOL
 
I guess I actually be able to get some scrapping done. We'll probably all crash the gallery when it opens back up with uploads from all the time we will have on our hands. I guess I will actually have a clean house for a week:D and dare I say it -- cook decent meals for my family!

Robin- are you sure my hubby isn't paying you to close down the place for a week.

I might, just might, if the sale is still on at NewEgg on Saturday, be spending the week SSD is down playing with my new D40. Which would be an awesome timing coincidence for me & then I can get on after a week of playing around with a whole list of questions for the D40 peeps here. :)

I'm with Joan. I totally need to NOT refresh at SSD 8903854930853 times a day at work. But Facebook, and thus Make Me A Celebrity, will still be up to distract me.
 
I really do need to use that time to catch up on things and get stuff done around the house! I am like Joan, I really do need to change my web habits. I need to start scheduling my time! Ugh...but I love it here so!

OOOH. Corey, add me to your facebook. Share your scrapping friends with me. Pretty please. When I saw that there would be no Sweet Shoppe for a week I almost cried. My oldest child hugged me and patted my back. She said she would keep me company and we could paper scrap. WTH???

(1) We can chat on Facebook IM. I know I chatted on & off with Col this afternoon in between her working and my not working at work. :P

(2) Someone said she had an empty forum we could use.

(3) We can always create a Yahoo!/Google group for the week and then delete it when the week is over.

Easy peasy.
 
CLEAN HOUSE!! LOL I will have the music blasting and scrubbing everything in sight. I have neglected my houseowrk a little lately and just been kinda picking up and cleaning what has to be done but havent done a deep clean in awhile. I used to do one every week or two at the most. Well thatll take a day or two so Im not sure about the other days. maybe scrap something?
 
OMG!!!!!! I don't know what I'm going to do. How long was SSD down last night??? LIke a half hour. I was prepared to look Robin up in the phone book to tell her to get the site moving!!! LOL
 
Well, this thread prompted me to actually go and read the newsletter. I think I can handle a week without SSD (I think), but I have to admit that I am totally heartbroken about having to wait until Dec. to use Sweet Rewards. :unsure:
