Wii last night!:thumbup: OMG so fun! We picked up MarioKart and DH got Wrestling (so funny), I think we will end up getting Guitar Hero sometime too........what other games do you recommend for those who have one! Any good children's games out there?
 
Awesome Cindy! Kristen loves to play bowling and tennis on the Wii Sports that comes with the console. I loved Paper Mario, but haven't played it since I beat it, so I probably could just rented it instead of buying it for $50 LOL Wii Fit is great and Mario Party 8 is fun too. I'm wanting Mario Kart. :)
 
Isn't it great?!? We couldn't survive without our Wii! LOL

For kids, I HIGHLY recommend the game Playground! It's very age appropriate and there is soccer, dodgeball, paper airplane races, slot cars, tetherball and wall ball... it's cute and really fun!

We also like Mario Party and Carnial Games.

Right now the boys are hooked on Lego Indiana Jones (SOOOO cute!) and My Sims (which I also love to play)!
 
We're fans of Mario Galaxy, Mario Cart, Super Smash Bros, and the wii sports.
(We have Guitar Hero for PS2 which is in the bedroom so I can play that while jordan uses the Wii or the PS3 :))
 
Oh, I'm so jealous! I've been hunting for a Wii since February and you just can't get them here. Demand is still through the roof. Enjoy yours!!!
 
We love super mario galaxy, mario kart and the kids love playing the Wii sports. Actually my oldest plays the Wii fit with me.

We rented the carnival games and the girls loved it!
 
We rent most of our games.The most popular with the boys (apart from Mario Kart, which we ended up buying) have been Playground, Mater National and Lego Indiana Jones. The boys can't read yet so I often had to help them with the Indiana Jones one but they played 85% of it themselves.

We want to rent Boom Blox but it is always out.
 
The more I hear about the Wii the more I really want one!! We have a ps3 which I do LOVE But would love another console more appropriate for family games and the kids. Maybe when we can find one in umm say 5 years or so LOL we might have to get one. Though I have to say im kinda self concious for some odd reason about how stupid im going to look playing it lmao
 
Yay! Isn't it so fun! My boys really like wii olympics but we really don't have any other games, LOL...they love all of the sport games but I've noticed if they box it turns into real life boxing at times! LOL
 
we are Wii-less. DH has no interest. Kids tried it at a friend's and weren't interested. oh well. maybe next year.

do you need a widescreen TV for it? or TV is OOOOOLD.
 
I am so jealous. I want one of these. I keep trying to tell my husband the kids really need one ;) Maybe he will realize it soon!!!
 
Jordan's dad is 52 and got a Wii for Chistmas. Not even joking.

I need to rent Mario PArty, I LOVED it back when it first came out on whatever console.
 
How fun! Our favs are MarioKart, Mario Party 8, Monster Trucks, Wario's Smooth moves, Bust a Move, and Crash. We haven't found any that DS are interested in, which is fine with us :)
 
My mom hits the big 60 this year and we have been racking our brains trying to figure out what to get her - we were thinking along the lines of a cruise or trip to New Zealand - and she Finally told us what she wants -

I am so jealous...I want one, the kids want one but DH says NO!!! We already have a PS2 with a ton (like over 40) of games including Guitar Hero 2 & 3 so he thinks it is stupid to have 2 game councils.......what do men know anyway!!! I just want it for Wii fit myself!!!
