.... that apparently can't stand me. :thumbdown:

I work at an elementary school and everyone I work with here is SO great! We all get along and everyone is super-friendly.

except for this one woman. She's our special ed/resource teacher and I think she secretly wants me dead. Everytime I say anything in her presence she either rolls her eyes at me, makes this snort/tsk combination sound, or gives me a dirty look.

And today, of all days, I'm just simply NOT in the mood for it. I had a bit of a crazy morning with some "women issues" and a few co-workers were asking about it and this chick just sits there eating her sandwhich, rolling her eyes at everything I'm saying (which was not graphic or anything, btw). I swear I about slapped her.

I usually don't let her bother me because, truth be told, I don't much care for her either. But today its taking everything in me to keep my mouth shut to this woman.

I swear on all things holy that if this chick gives me one more look or rolls her eyes at one more thing I say, I'm gonna put my newly pedicured foot up her @$$ once and for all.

DON'T mess with me today, lady. Seriously.

My store manager is like that. I swear.
I have never done anything to the man but I swear he hates me. He never talks or smiles or says anything unless I am in his office asking a question, which by the way, has happened twice in the past 2 years that I've been there.

She's one of those women that thinks she knows everything simply because she's older than dirt, and that I know nothing because I'm under the age of 30.

I seriously don't let her bother me, but today is just *not* the day to piss me off. Seriously.
 
seriously!?!?! wow!! i actually didn't realize that anyone on planet earth who knows you would not like you...your so loveable!

next time she audibly huffs. look her straight in the face and say...did i do something to upset you? do you not like me? who cares. what do you have to lose. i'm sure it will baffle her and she'll be kind. i love throwing people off and she deserves it! apparently she thinks she's God's give to northern colorado.

Jenny, you're a stronger woman than me. It would take every ounce of restraint within me to keep my mouth shut.

Her behavior is really unprofessional though.

ETA: I like Lizzy's idea...sort of a "kill her with kindness" thing. Guilt works wonders.

Yeah, I'm actually thinking about confronting her next time she does it because its just so rude. I mean, she does it anytime I say ANYTHING. I don't know what she has against me. I really am very nice to her. I even go out of my way compliment her or help her out.

Well, no more Mrs. Nice Nurse. Jenny is officially pissed off!

I vote for the Fizzster suggestion. She totally needs to be called out, but in a super sugary sweet way that'll just mow her down with kindness.
 
'Are you okay, Ms. Eyeroller? You keep making this weird noise in your throat. It sounds just awful. Are you sick? Maybe I could recommend some kind of medicine to you being the school nurse and all... I'd hate for your condition to get worse and you to have to miss school next week.'

Everytime she rolls her eyes - stop what you are saying and sweetly ask her - ooooh are you ok? do you have something in your eye????? :p
 
I teach special ed and also worked with someone like this... I REALLY think certain folks get stressed, can't handle it and take it out by acting like that. Maybe she'll retire and then you breathe easy! :) Don't sweat it!

Oh see....this would drive me bananas....I can't believe you have put up with it so long...seriously, like the third time she pulled that shizz, I would have had a blackout moment...blackout moments are what we at school refer to as the minute when something has you so angry, you may forget you're a teacher, and you may do something...but it would be ok, b/c you blacked out.

Seriously though, I would totally address it, esp. when there are people around. Ain't nobody gonna treat Jenny like dat!
