So proud of my daughter today!

I got some good news from my daughter today. She went to the community college and started doing the financial aid and admittance paperwork. She said she has to take a placement test on Wednesday and she hopes to be starting classes in January. Right now she wants to be a nurse...she used to want to be a teacher but after her dad got into the car accident in July she changed her mind and decided she wanted to be a nurse. Well anyhow it has been a little over two years since she graduated and I have been gently nudging her towards going back to school. Now she is actually doing it...it makes me so happy for her. She went about it a little differently then was originally planned but she is still doing it. She was nervous about it for awhile thinking she wouldn't be able to manage school, work & family but she just decided it was time and did it :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
 
Just wanted to update. She did the placement test and got 145/150 on reading 120/150 on writing and Im not sure what her score was on math but she said she placed in college level. She was late to doing admission paperwork because of that dumb girl who she works with was late to work as usual and Crystal had to open the store for her. But she got all her paperwork done, tests are taken which she did great on and admissions are done. I havent talked to her to find out when she starts but I think she was aiming for January.
 
That's so great Jessica. Good for her to doing all that at once! Makes me think I need to get myself in gear and head back to school myself.
