:(:(:(

It snuck up on him too. He JUST had a well baby check, literally days ago, and was fine. Then he got a cold...but I wasn't nearly as concerned about the cold as I was the 103 fever he ran for 4 days following the immunizations...I know it's normal but still stunk.

Then the cold moved to his throat, I could hear him getting hoarse. So we've been running a cool mist humidifier with Vicks in it for 3 nights now and last night it didn't even take the edge off. So I take him in today and after xays and cultures, have an answer...he's got lower right lobe pneumonia and a little staph infection on his bottom. (that was also not there a few days ago).

He is on a megabiotic, and breathing treatments, and a cream for his bottom.

I hope he sleeps better tonight

here he was a few moments ago: (me with hospital bracelet still on)

Oh Lena! I'm so sorry sweetie! I'll be praying for a quick recovery! (((HUGS))) for both of you! Such a sweet picture!

HUGS Lena, hope he gets some rest tonight. I had the same thing happen when DS2 was 6 months old and after 1 round of anitibiotics he was like a new kid!!!

He looks like he's doing good with the breathing treatments, I tried once with Evan and he screamed for an hour! Hope you get some relief soon, it seems like one thing after another these last couple of months! Kyle had a cold and a fever and ended up with a double ear infection. Just that time of year!!! Feel better Parker!!

absolutely heartbreaking isn't it???

My newborn was born with pneumonia, then developed a staph infection while still in the hospital - it's so scary when they are so little.

Big hugs!

Awwwww hugs honey!! Hes the cutest little sickie ever but my heart goes out to you guys. I know how awful it is when our little ones aren't themselves.

Poor lil cutie! Hope he is feeling himself quickly!

Every time I would take my girls to their well child check-ups they would get sick.. it was so frustrating! So I quit taking them after my youngest was 1.5 years and we have had much more well time. Shh don't tell. lol

Lena, How is the little man doing today? I hope the antibiotics are starting to help and he feels better soon. Poor little guy has had it rough the past few weeks!
