So much for Happy Birthdays

Sadie is in the hospital. She started acting really funny, we brought her to the ER. They can't see anything right now but they want to put her on fluids and watch her. Right now it’s a $500 bill and they have only taken blood. They may move to Xays later if she doesn't improve or starts throwing up. I'm having a terrible bday. I want my puppy home and well. :(
 
Oh no!!! Poor baby! I hope she gets well fast!

Any chance that she got into something she shouldn't have? Chocolate maybe??
 
aww Im sorry!! You just got her recently right? Did you contact the person who you bought her from? Maybe they might be able to shed some ideas at to whats going on. (also might be responsible for those vet bills if she is brand new to your home)
 
Thanks everyone. Yeah, they think she ate something she shouldn't have and it gave her a bellyache but they wanted to keep her overnight to monitor her and give her some fluids. They gave her a shot for the tummy and said just a few minutes ago that she ate her dinner and kept it down so that's a good sign! Thanks so much for your good thoughts I really appreciate it!
 
aw, poor puppy! I think with all this snow that melted she probably found something REALLY yummy(like the scattered dead rabbit parts I found all over my yard yesterday)....
I'm glad to hear she's doing better!
