So, Landon just asked me...

"Why did you pick Dad for a husband?"

Me: He had the best hair.
L: LOL Well, he's lost it all now.
Me: I know. He didn't have any then either. I was just being silly.
L: Well, what I really mean is why didn't you pick somebody who is also always right?

I'm so cracking up. I'm the one who's always right around here (much to Michael's dismay). I wonder what he's trying to process up there in his little [almost] 9 y/o brain. I ended up giving him the "Heavenly Father blessed me with super brain powers" reason...I learn faster and remember more which means it's easier for me to be right. [Don't get me wrong...Michael is a pretty smart cookie, too, but I just happen to live above the genius IQ marker...which he's grateful for most days.]

That's SO funny! My son said something about his daddy is going to be bald too and says daddy's so smart his brain is burning up and making his hair come out! :) LOL

That's funny. and you did an awesome job of explaining things. I think I would have said - "well, it would be very hard to have 2 always right people living together. Who'd be right, then?"

*lol*

Awesome. It's already well established in our household, through none of my own doing (I swear!), by my SS that I'm the boss... even of Daddy.

Along the same lines, when we were at my BIL's and SIL's house over the Fourth of July weekend, my 5yo nephew happily told SIL and me that she knew everything, like God, but not his daddy.
