i always complain about how madelyn never stops talking. she talks from the minute her feet hit the floor in the am until she gets in bed at night.

what's something that your kid(s) does that drives you nuts but you do the same thing?
 
Ava is my clone, so everything. LOL She concentrates on the negative (something I am only learning to not do in my 30's) and argues even when she knows she is wrong. But, I also love her wit and sass that I think she got from me as well.
 
Katie is my clone and drives me freakin' crazy. She's made me realize that I would make myself nuts if I had to hang out with me sometimes. It's interesting though because I can see how special she is to Rocky and that makes me see how special I am to him too. It's funny how sometimes things that make us think we're strange or annoying are exactly the things that other people love about us.
 
Hmmmm Josiah drives me insane but he's just like Patrick so....that's not good. LOL

Karsten has a bad temper and is argumentative to the max. Wonder where he got that from?
 
Michael is a know-it-all ... it doesn't drive me nuts per se, but I can see how it would bother other people. I've actually pondered whether I would like me if I met myself and I'm pretty sure I'd annoy me, lol (2 pts. if that made sense to you).

This is Sean. He is SO much like Brett, and he drives me batty every single day.

Ian is more like me, and yes, there are definitely things about myself that I see in him and just roll my eyes. He's a whiner and too sensitive. Ugh. I've become much, much less sensitive as I've gotten older. In fact, I have pretty thick skin now. But, I was extremely sensitive as a kid and got my feelings hurt really easily. The whining . . . yeah, I'm still a whiner. People who know and love me have learned to think that it's endearing. :p
 
I only have one child and he's the clone of his father personality wise. It's a good thing though, he got his dad's best trait, charm. Luckily he's being raised by me so I can fix any if the not as great personality traits that come from his dad. ;)
 
Anxious! I can't really read fiction books because they just possess me...I have to finish it right now!!!!! My son is the same way. There is absolutely NO WAY I'm putting his presents under the tree until he is asleep on the 24th. He would just freak out!
 
My kids are all very tender & sweet which of course they get from me LOL, but they also argue a lot, which they also get from me. And a couple of them exhibit Chris' complete wacko side and act like lunatics, which is funny at times but can also get reallly annoying.
 
Too smart for her own good. Too sensitive to other people's feelings. Bullheaded. Not willing to do something because she should/needs to/I said so, but needs to understand the reasoning or logic behind it first. Visually-oriented. Light sleeper. Shy/insecure around strangers especially men. Easily overstimulated. Sassy. Needs routine. Photographic memory + always does things the same way every time. Bossy. Willing to go hungry if the food offered is not what she wants to eat or not her style.

Do I need to go on?!? :p

She looks juuuuuuuuuuuuust like me, too.

The only 2 big differences between us are her short temper and flair for the (melo)dramatic which she gets from her daddy. She also has his blood sugar issue which makes her temper and melodramatic tendencies much, much worse sometimes.

Oh, and she's such the chatterbox. I used to be that way, but Hubs and my stepson talk even more than I do, so I'm not usually particularly chatty at home. She gets that from both of us, I guess.
 
My 5yr old is a control freak, just like her momma. LOL Guess I (we?) should work on that!
 
Oh my little guy has a mouth on him...he always has something to say and loves to have the last word...my mom says I'm getting it back big time...

He hates to lose like his dad...drives me crazy...
 
My son is soo serious and takes everything literally. He also holds onto things that make him mad and it takes soo long for him to get over them. He can hold onto a grudge for a long time... just like his dad!!!!

My daughter is completely silly and is very self-contained and "chill". It takes A LOT to make her mad, but once she gets mad, watch out! She'll bite your head off.. but then be over the spat in 10 seconds flat :p Just like me!!!

It's so funny that our son is like his daddy and our daughter is like her mommy, but they have the opposite looks- our son looks so much like me and our daughter looks like daddy.. eye color even lol
