yeah - he was a down and out Aussie just before the movie scooped him up - He (Sam Worthington) was interviewed by Rove here and he seems fun and pretty layed back. Just your average guy next door type with no airs or graces but over-the-moon to have scored such a huge roll. Im really pleased its proving to be a success for him!

he's so funny too..he was on um..I think it was Ellen or maybe it was The View..one of those daytime shows haha...he's yummmmy

He played James on Twilight. I fell in love with him during that movie. I think I watched the scene in the ballet studio and on the boat dock a dozen times LOL

i was about to ask if that was the guy out of twilight. i thought he was pretty hot in the movie...he looks skinny or something in that photo...

Oh Sam Worthington is so to die for! He's a true-blue Aussie alright and has been acting in lots of Australian movies and series over the years. He took a real gamble on James Cameron for this role in Avatar and basically sold up everything he had and moved to the States to make this. Haven't seen it myself but would love to see it in 3D while it's at the cinemas. There's so many Aussie guys out there taking the world by storm - Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana, Simon Baker (The Mentalist) but to name a few.

Proud Aussie here!

I have to admit y'all do grow them well down there lol..don't forget Russell Crowe..I ♥ him! :) and I bet Worthington is very glad he took a gamble on James Cameron ...last I heard it had grossed 212 million and that was about 5 days ago!

I dont think u missed that much by not seeing it in 3d Nikki. We saw it last night, and apart from maybe 3 or 4 scenes where i thought "man this 3d is awesome", i mostly didnt notice the 3d parts. I actually found it annoying in alot of scenes...was kind of hard to focus. And i saw alot of people rubbing their eyes afterwards.

Have to say tho, i really did like the movie. That sort of movie is so not my thing, but i was pleasantly surprised.

I have to be honest....I wasn't all that incredibly impressed with it in 3d either. First of all after almost three hours, the glasses were hurting my ears, lol. I had a bit of trouble focusing at times and found myself trying to look above the glasses to let my eyes try to focus...obviously it was blurry then too. This was one of those movies where the 3d was almost too much. I'd actually love to see it again only in 2d this next time. Nate loved it in 3d....I guess it's all a matter of personal opinion.
