So I know we talk about this every fall...

umm.....no, lol. i hate candy corn. i LOVE chocolate. how DARE they mix the two!! they ruined perfectly good hershey's kisses! :D :D

We adore candy corn (though we like the pumpkins best of all!) but that doesn't look that yummy. However...I will try any kind of Kiss, so I might pick these up to try. Only if you swear to me that they don't taste like black licorice! That's just not cool and I will be very upset if they do! :D :D :D

Never tried candy corn - it sounds like its only on your side of the Atlantic! Is it like popcorn, only shaped? I don't really like the look of the chocolate version...

I'll stick to toffee apples until you start exporting candy corn for us to try :)

It's like..waxy sugar? Hard to explain, Sara. :D

I forgot to come back to this thread to update you all. I'm so sorry. I know you've all been waiting on baited breath to hear my opinion on this. LOLOLOLOL

So, I got the hershey's candy corn kisses and I don't like them. My teenage son is loving them though, however he likes white chocolate and I don't. So, my official opinion is that if you hate white chocolate, stay away from these.

Well I used to be on the LCC side....until DS's peanut allergy! All Brach's candy is out for us since it is all manufactured on the same equipment as peanuts.(in Mexico) So add candy corn to the list of candy we cannot eat (M&M's, Twix and just about any chocolate other than plain Hershey Kisses)! I will have to check out a bag of these to read the allergy info, but I doubt it since it is a "mix" of flavors. I know most people don't have this issue (and a year ago we "didn't") but darn-it, cannot manufacturers use different machines for the non-nut ones!!!!

Sorry...pity party for one please!

For you that don't have it (it is more of a North America/USA thing because of the old indian corn back in the day and we make candy out of anything) here is a picture:

They are UBER sweet and slight maple syrup flavor and very waxy in texture on the outside and a little inside. But if you like to eat them, they are ridiculously addictive. Put a bowl out at the office and they are gone in less than an hour!

But they are not to die for like real chocolate, or tiramassu or creme brule, just hopelessly addictive for some of us! They only have them out in Autumn here so they kinda mark that time of year for us.

Hope that explains it better, but don't worry...you aren't missing out that much! They def aren't worth the international postage!

No. that is just wrong. Just wrong.

Candy corn rocks....but I don't like the chocolate candy corn. And you shouldn't go messing with a girl's Kisses like that. They.must.have.real.chocolate (none of that fake sissy white 'chocolate' stuff that really isn't chocolate).

I'm a purist like that lol.

Although I haven't tried them...I tend to agree with Darcy. They do look cute though.

Ummm we just bought a good sized bag of candy corn on the robotics trip...I think there are 5 left...not bags...just candy corn pieces. ...for the moment...

I bought the candy corn ones and the caramel apple ones. The caramel apple kisses were dabomb!! I bought several bags of both to send to Jenn up Canada, and left two bags out while dh and I were gone over the weekend. My boys devoured both bags, so even though they weren't crazy about the candy corn ones, it didn't stop them from eating them!!

Now, I'm just waiting for the weather to not be over 100 degrees so I can send the chocolate to Jenn. That was something I totally forgot about!! LOL!!

I picked up a bag @ Target the other day and they are yummy, and I'm not usually a fan of white chocolate (& they taste nothing like black licorice)! I want the caramel apple kind too but didn't want to go back to the Halloween candy area, I was afraid I'd end up with an entire cart full of candy :D so I stuck to what was on an end cap by the registers lol!
