So are you counting down for AI?

I was going to go on the web today and find out what the start date was....now I don't have to...off to set my DVR too :) Thanks!
 
Can't wait!! I'm not a HUGE AI fan, but I get together with some girlfriends every week at my house to watch it and eat junk food. Its loads of fun. :)
 
I totally love watching the bad singers... but then I lose interest (DH says I have the attention span of a fruit fly).

I'm the opposite, I hate watching the audition shows at the beginning cause of all the really sucky people they always show. But once they get to the shows where they actually show people who can sing then I can actually start watching and watch til the end! So I'm excited but I can skip the first few weeks of shows lol!
 
I can't say I'm overly excited but I will probably watch. :p

This is me too. I can't stand the audition weeks! Although I did read somewhere that they're supposed to be cutting back on the number of bad auditions they show and "focusing on the music." Maybe those episodes will become watchable again, :D.
 
Im excited but I think it's gonna be hard to capture my heart again the way david cook did. I'll be surprised if I have a real fave this year.
 
I've got the DVR set and ready!! I might even be willing to delete last season's finale once things have started up this season. LOL!!
 
Oh yeah! I was happy last year the person I wanted to win actually did. It is usually the other person. Plus I think I am a big Cookie fan because he is from my area and would watch his stories on the local news all the time. Heck when I go through Blue Springs I always think this is where he is from lol. I hope they have some good ones this year.
 
I'm actually looking forward to the auditions since they held them in my city (Jacksonville) this year. I'm curious to see just who or what shows up. LOL
 
Anyone know how many days/hours it is on next week? I always watch it, but it's such a huge time commitment, especially in the beginning.

I'm not that thrilled they have a new judge - hopefully she will win me over.
 
TOTALLY! Can't wait... although, I haven't seen any announcements on our American Forces Network... they BETTER be showing it this season.
 
I've never been a huge AI watcher. I might catch the bad auditions and usually tune out after that.
 
I have watched every season from start to finish. I think I've only missed maybe 1 or 2 episodes EVER. Would you believe that one of those was the one when John Bon Jovi was on helping the contestants? :cursing: I could have died!!!

It will be fun to chat here each week... only, I'll have to stay away from the threads until the next day because we get the show a day after the states. darn!
