Think maybe we could make it Digital Scrapbook WEEK? Trying to do it all in a day, or even a weekend, is killing me! I know some lucky folks get to sit home all day and play, but some of us have husbands who plan beach outings with no regard to digitally designed holidays and children whose schools plan their annual 2 hour long program for that weekend, as if enduring other peoples' children dancing and singing in a forgeign, tonal language isn't painful enough any other weekend.

I was thinking wouldn't it be fun to start off the sale on Saturday and then have challenges and activities all week long?! That way we could really take the time to create pages we love instead of just cramming pages into the gallery.

So, whaddya say...DSW in 2010?

I managed it this year sending my DH + the older DD to his parents and stay at home only with my baby DD :) and enjoyed it a lot, but I think if we have the whole week, it would be great!

Anyway, MANY MANY THANKS to all the designers, SugarBabes and CT members for the fun!!! :)
 
Definitely in too! It's even harder for me because I live in Europe and your morning is my midday, so I only have half a day of fun... snif! I guess it's even worse for aussie scrappers!!
 
I'm in, only if I can get the whole week off of work. LOL

I had a lot of fun, though- one day or one week, I don't care... as long as we do it again!
 
I agree! I love DSD, but spent a good portion of the day feeling like my head was whirling instead of scrapping and shopping. LOL. I did have fun, but feel like there was so much more I wanted to do and didn't get to it!

I agree. :thumbup: This is the first time I haven't had drill on the day and thus actually got to do most of the stuff I wanted to do even with a trip to the park and into a couple of (brick and mortar) stores there.
 
Yes, a week of it would be amazing...although, by the end of the week my DH would be ready to ring my neck for not getting anything done! :p
 
I know traci and so I will not sent my mail much before, because I want to scrap tomorrow with your goodies :-)
 
Traci, I thought your contest ended at 9 am EST tomorrow? is it at night? if so that would make me SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!

and I am TOTALLY in for a WHOLE week!!!!!!!:thumbup:
 
Yeah, there's a lot I don't get to participate in during the 1 day. I shop at like 5 am and then concentrate on finishing about 3 pages I love, and I skip all games and challenges that don't lead to that goal. If we do go to a full week, I hope we'd still go all out for one day. It would lose something if there were a few new challenges every day for a week instead of a bunch of events on the official DSD.
 
both of my challenges (template challenge and Christmas wish challenge) are still going too! Use those goodies that you just bought to scrap something awesome and win a prize!
 
I would love a whole week. I have always had to work on DSD and NSD (poor planning on my part mostly), and this year I just happened to plan my vacation during it. I had no time to get CT work done because I was traveling, and then on DSD (Saturday), I was in an airplane all day. I was wiped out...and spent all Sunday making up all my CT work. I didn't get to play at all.
 
I think that one day is desperatelly insufficient, especially to those people in other time zones... and what 'bout the family!

In my case, my husband was having a concert, his hobby is to sing in a choir. So due to the different time and everything around this I just briefly went throught the new products and the sale, made 2 purchases - one from the new releases, one from the wishlist (appx. 65 USD in total) and hurried up away...

On the other hand, if I had more time browsing my wishlist... I would spend more :)

Yep, and one more thing... higher discounts would be welcome *innocent eyes*

I agree! I had to work all day and I only got to go shopping in a frantic panic about an hour before the SSD shoppe clicked over to Sunday. I didn't get to participate in ONE challenge or game either - I was soooo sad!!!
