Considering that I live in the desert with temperatures ranging from 115(summer) to 20(winter) with absolutely NO precipitation... this is damn exciting!!!

oh, i understand. people who don't get it enjoy it when they do. for christmas day, it is nice to have a white christmas. and if it's not a lot of snow, and the roads aren't bad, i don't mind it. i just hate being cold, and i hate idiot drivers who think just because they have 4 WD that they are invincible, lol.

I'm glad you're happy about that! The grass is always greener...

We have a raging blizzard on the way, bringing with it 10+ inches of snow today/tomorrow. Oh joy.

that's what i was going to say! come to Indiana when we get one of our big snowstorms and try driving in it along with black ice, then we'll see how much you love snow!! :D
Is black ice slippery? *snortle* (That's a snort and a chortle, btw)

Yeah, I don't get too excited about snow anymore here in MN.

Are we "neighbors"? I can't recall who of the old siggy crew lived near MN. I know Western MN is going to get their arses kicked. HOPEFULLY it stays away from the Twin Cities!! *shakes fist angrily*

Yeah there was a blizzard heading through southern Alberta and down into Montana last night/this morning. Thankfully it was more south than me, but our temperature dropped and we did get SOME blowing snow. Brrr. I'm ready for warm...

I am originally from MN - last lived in Mankato. However, WI isn't any better for weather. We just got 10+ inches dumped on us last Monday night - kids got a snow day on Tuesday. It took my DH 2 hours to blow the snow off of our driveway!

Yeah - snow sucks!!

Yes, we are neighbors! I'm about to make a trip to the grocery store for some milk in case I can't leave for 3 days. LOL!

Another mother on one of my parenting boards lives in WI and they got dumped on!!! I hope you get spared from this latest round, because that would just be wayyyyy too much.
