It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...
Everywhere there's snow...
It's falling faster and faster and faster...
Oh where did summer go?!

(yah I just made that up)

Here's what my back yard looks like today.

We had some snow/rain mix yesterday- luckily the ground was too wet so it just melted when it hit the ground! Today it's sorta sunny, but cold. We'll have the white stuff here soon too! I personally love snow- but I'd rather it wait until at least November to fall! :p

I live in PA on the edge of the Allegheny Mountains and we are forcasted for snow on Thursday and Friday  I'm totally not ready for snow!!! :glare:

Isn't that almost normal for you about now though, Leah? I mean, you're practically at the North Pole up there. ;):p

We actually had 'wintery mix' the other day. I know our temps are well below normal for this time of year, but I accept that WI has entered into i"almost winter" which will be followed closely by winter, still winter, and road construction.

Leah are you in Winnipeg? I am in Kenora, ON and we just got a bunch of snow the last few days.

Here are my girls enjoying the first snow - check out the green leaves on the tree! -

Where are you?? (PM me if you don't want to say it publicly!) I was born in Bedford, a town just outside of Johnstown. Lived there half of my life!!

and for the rest of you girls, WOW!! SNOW!! I'm actually kind of jealous...oh wait, no I'm not...it's going to be in the 60's here for the next 3 months. I'm pretty OK with that instead. :p

Shhhh Leila...the elves are right down the road. I could put in a good word for you! LOL J/K Some years we have a little bit of snow that stays before Halloween, other years, it's November. Maybe I'm just in denial...I dunno.

:p

I only wish I ever had an excuse to buy adorable little winter garb like that. We've had rain, rain, and more rain these last couple of weeks, but the coolest it ever got was still like 40 degrees (F) too hot for snow.

Of course, I did live in Utah for a few years (AF...antefamily). I loved seeing the snowcapped mountains ('cause quite frankly, they are UGLY the other 6 months of the year). I loved being the first person to leave my prints in the snow on the way to campus. But I HATED the dirty, disgusting piles of snow that got pushed to the sides of the street each day with the snow plows. They just kept getting bigger and bigger and became quite depressing.

So, I'd love a happy little mix...just a few decent snowfalls a year would be nice.

Its cold here in Ohio, but thankfully we don't have any snow yet. I am soooo NOT ready for the snow or the cold.

I was just outside waiting for the school bus and it was snowing! That is ridiculous! Thankfully, it was melting snow.

There should be a law: no snow before Halloween! :cursing: Geez, we're going to the pumpkin patch Saturday, I don't want snow! :(

No snow here yet, but it's getting colder. The thing I hate the most is having to tie shoelaces for all my kids! Summer is the season of sandals, and I hate when that passes us by!

LOL I wear flipflops yearound...did when I lived in UT, too. I own other shoes, but my feet are claustrophobic or something. They need space!

You should SEE the amount of snow we got dumped on us this week, it's crazy!! And yeah, it was still forcasted until today that it would be 20+ tomorrow. Haha. Now they're predicting more snow. Good times.

I wear sandals and flipflops yearound too. But, I just can't send my little ones outside in sandals. Socks and tennis shoes are for the birds!
